Dr. King is pure magic. The Shin Center is an amazing place. As a veteran (40+) fencer who competes nationally, I could not keep up my training or schedule without Dr. King's help. My knees, which are a complete mess, feel amazing when he is done. The facility is superb - with the recovery area and other services. He and Dr. Shin truly know how to treat older athletes and weekend warriors with decades of abuse pounded on their bodies. I can't say enough good things about Dr. King - knowledgeable, kind, caring and very attentive to each athlete's need as it depends on their sport. He listens and then asks you questions once he starts his examination that surprise you based upon what he feels in your muscles that you never even noticed. I highly recommend Dr. King and the Shin Center for athletes of any age.

I've only had two appointments so far, but I will definitely be going back and suggesting The Shin Center to family and friends. My first appointment was with both Dr. Shin and Dr. King. Both doctors are two of the best, most comprehensive, friendly and caring doctors I have ever been to. They took their time explaining what they were doing and what they were finding and their questions were so thorough which allowed them to understand what was going on with my pain when no other doctors in the past could. Their treatments are cutting edge and their approaches allow for their patients to actually recover and heal from injury, whether acute or chronic. My second appointment was with Dr. King which was a great and comfortable experience. He treated me with multiple techniques to maximize effectiveness such as OMM, acupuncture, and injections and I was very comfortable with his approach. I also appreciated that he explained what he was doing and why it works. I've seen improvement in my chronic knee pain just from two appointments and I look forward to going back. You won't find more effective doctors or methods than at The Shin Center and you definitely won't be disappointed.

I had my very first acupuncture session with Dr. King and I found the whole experience life changing. I have been struggling with headaches and fatigue for 3 years post craniotomy and was open to trying acupuncture for treatment. Dr King was extremely kind, knowledgeable, thorough and patient. I was a little nervous in the beginning, however Dr. King made me feel calm and comfortable almost immediately. He was willing to explain what he was doing and answer all of my questions. He’s clearly passionate about helping people get stronger and better. I felt great the next day and continue to feel better with less headaches and more energy. I highly recommend Dr. King and the Shin Center, you will not be disappointed!

I had my first appointment with Dr. King and it was an awesome experience. The office is beautiful, super modern, and clean. Dr. King was really knowledgeable and excited about his work. You can tell he enjoys what he does and he believes in it. Everything I had done was completely painless and I immediately felt better walking out. I would 100% recommend this to any friends or family, especially with any athletic injuries.

The Shin center is truly a place for healing. I have struggled with chronic pain for years. I’ve been to many doctors and never have I experienced such comfort. After just one appointment with Dr. King, I already feel a big difference in my mobility. Dr. King is a well of knowledge and incredibly intuitive and was able to describe the issues that I was having without me even saying. Dr. shin is amazing. I’ve gone to him for prolotherapy and prp therapy and he has helped with with so many sports related injuries. I seriously don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have him and his wonderful staff to go see when an injury or pain occurs. I now also go for routine maintenance because it makes me feel better!

Dr Shin has gotten me back to all of the activities I love such as , pilates and ballet. I previously had trouble just walking up the stairs and now I’m back to dancing several times a week.

Dr. Shin is extremely knowledgeable. He does a great job at explaining what acupuncture, the recovery procedures look and feel like. It has taught me how to manage the expectations of my recovery!!! Great experience and would recommend anyone looking to get healthy recovery to try this facility.
