Brookhill farms was everything my friends and I wanted and more! From our arrival to our departure, everyone was so friendly, welcoming and accommodating to us! Our horses were beautifully taken care of and confident perfect beginner rides! We took a trail ride through the woods behind the property throughout which our guide, Marc, was always there for us to make sure everything was going smoothly. Before and after our ride, we were able to take care and tack our horses, adding to the wonderful overall experience we had. In addition, there was an adorable little foal on the property which were allowed to meet and take pictures of which just solidified our perfect day at the barn. I cannot praise this facility more and I absolutely recommend visiting it!

Our group of 5 arrived at the Brookhill Farm to friendly faces and helpful team members. We were a group of beginner riders and they all made us feel very comfortable, gave us great instruction, answered all of our questions and showed us a great time on our trail ride. Our guide, Mark, was friendly and entertaining and the horses were well behaved and well groomed. I would recommend Brookhill Farm for anyone looking for a great outdoor activity when in the Charlottesville area. Thank you Mark and Lynne.

Mark was a fantastic guide. He was ready to help us right from the ground should anything go wrong. As an experienced equestrian, I can testify that all the horses are well taken care of and are clean. Mark even goes as far as to wash all saddle pads after rides. The facility is clean. This is a great stop for any out-of-state visitors as you will learn about the area during your tour. Our guide told us about the history of the land and the area of Charlottesville, VA. He pointed in the direction of where Thomas Jefferson lived! At the end of our ride we were met with peaceful grazing of the horses and nice cold water bottles. It was such a blessing to be able to spend time with the horses even after the ride. I would highly recommend Brookhill Farm for any new or experienced equine enthusiasts. My group prioritized safety when booking and this is a very safe trail.

We just finished a week of camp for our little one who absolutely improved in riding skills and ability to care for a horse. We are so impressed with their attention to safety while also making camp fun! The kids all learned different riding styles and were exposed to many new experiences. Mark, Lynne, Kim and all of their staff were so friendly answered any questions we had with a smile .This will be the first of many more years to come at this camp. We look forward to our next visit!!

Our family took a trail ride here. Brookhill Farm is a beautiful property and an experience we will always treasure (and repeat!). The horses are very well-mannered and perfectly spoiled by the welcoming owners. There aren’t enough stars to rate them accurately!

Mark was an excellent guide for our 1 hour trail ride. It was a great experience for my wife and I. He did a great job of explaining the basics. No drama. It was great. His wife is also a great supervisor of the staff there!

We've had two wonderful experiences at Brookhill Farm. We are from New Hampshire but when we visit family in the Charlottesville area, we often go for a trail ride. The trail ride at Brookhill is absolutely gorgeous with the blue ridge mountains in the background and the horses are lovely and well cared for. This time we had the added wonderful experience of Mark, working with my daughter to overcome her fear of being on a horse. She had been thrown from a horse a few months back and this was her first time being back in the saddle. He was absolutely wonderful, helping her regain her confidence and understand more about the nature of horses. She had a great time and we are grateful for his kind and knowledgeable approach to helping her overcome her fear. Rachel was our trail leader and she was great! We will definitely be back again!

I was planning a surprise horseback riding session for my friend's birthday, and Mark was so helpful and flexible in arranging a session for us, especially as we had to reschedule at one point! We are new to riding, and our instructor was great! She carefully walked us through the basics, then took us for a relaxing and scenic trail ride on horseback. We had a blast, and the horses were so calm with us newbies! It was a really wonderful experience, and everyone at Brookhill Farm was so friendly. My friend also really appreciated and enjoyed this birthday surprise!
