After trying several bike shops for my yearly bike tune up I decided to give Maplewood bike shop a try. Well they did not disappoint. My bike came out looking and riding like new. All my questions about the state of the different components of the bike were answered in a very honest and welcoming way. Most of all the attitude of the staff was amazing. Very friendly, eager to answer your questions and fast. It's a great bike shop! I couldn't recommend them enough!

These guys are the best! Our daughter’s bike fell off of our bike rack (thankfully no one was hurt!) on the way home from the beach on Saturday. It was mangled but salvageable and we knew buying a replacement wasn’t an option. We brought it in this past Saturday evening and it’s good as new on Monday...Their customer service (and attention to detail) is 💯!! FYI, I also purchased myself a used Specialized bike at a reasonable price. So happy to have Maplewood Bike Shed on the Avenue!!

So great to have such a wonderful bike shop nearby! I brought my old bike to Maplewood Bike Shed for the first time and couldn’t be happier with the service. They are friendly and professional. They repaired, tuned up (and cleaned!) my bike at a very reasonable cost in just 2 days. They even replaced the seat I had purchased. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will be taking our family’s bikes there from now on.

The best place! They are very professional and nice. I felt like I was in my second home. Definitely customer satisfaction is their top priority. I spoke with the mechanic and I noticed his knowledge about cycling discipline and his love for it. I always bring my bike for a tune-up and he recommends any service/product if needed to keep my road bike modern as I like , without the need to buy a new one, helping me to save money."

Jose is the man! So helpful and patient and clearly a bike fanatic. He’s like having a friend who’s a bike mechanic to answer all your questions. Truly a customer centric place. This place is a gem and unpretentious compared to some other shops I’ve been in where unless you’re wiling to drop thousands on a new bike they don’t really care about you.

Amazing customer service! José stopped what he was doing and helped me right away. He gave me a correct price estimate and worked diligently and quickly on the issue. The shop is precious and it has character! You feel warm and welcomed in its small setup. The owner came in later and even helped me with folding the bike along with Jose. Highly recommended!

So helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. I came in for an e-bile wheel repair and they not only fixed it quickly at a great price, but also gave me a bunch of great suggestions to avoid it in future. This my new spot!
