If you are looking for real shelter help you won't find it here. Don't waste your time trying. A troll (black female with dread locks) comes out the door and runs people away daily waving some funky list. Very nasty additude. After speaking with a few residents there. You are to be on a waiting list for three or more months. They will run you away. The help line will give you false hope sending you there in the first place. There is No Homeless Shelters. Only cold shelters

No complaints here . Mr Jason Legree and Ms Carlotta Fyall have been a great help to me as a Veteran . The Staff it self have been nice . And let’s not forget the cleaning , maintenance and the kitchen crew. My hats off to all of them. Keep up the good work !

Horrible experience with them. They told me to do all these things to qualify and once I completed them all, I was left outside in the cold. Never heard from them again. It put me and my baby in a dangerous situation. And I also don't understand how the people that work there not only can't answer any questions about the program but also cannot tell you if they even have an open spot for people before they tell you to jump through all these hoops to get in. Ridiculous.

I have volunteered and supported One80 Place since I was a teenager. I am very proud to sit on the board of this amazing organization. They offer the perfect match of heart + smart. I have personally observed the work they do in ending homelessness and love the proactive approach. In addition, as a donor, I am confident with the investment I am making. They use our donations wisely which is very important to me. Lastly, the entire staff is amazing! They truly care about the guests they serve.

I must say for an elder man with no family left 180 place has been a god send for me. I have gotten to know so many members of the staff over the years. They helped me when I lost pretty much my entire family on New Years Eve 2010. I have been in my home they assisted in locating for right at five years. Long story but the home is in bad shape and I have to move. Once again getting on the city of Charleston voucher program through 180 place back in 2017 finally came to fruition and I go pick up the cert tomorrow. I know I was in not such a great frame of mind when I first came in. I went through all the cycles of grief. I have became a much older and wiser man. I want to thank you all for the help. I wish I could name all the people under Nathan that helped me. Verdete, Connor, JR, and the two brothers that worked in the guys dorms are just a few that come to mind. All you ladies at the front desk were so kind and understanding. I am going to start another chapter in locating my final home in the low country if I am lucky. I have about 10 days left in my home before I need to vacate. I just pray the lord will keep looking over me until I secure my more structurally sound energy efficient home!

Incredible organization, striving to put an end to homelessness! The facility and staff are amazing and are always putting others first. If you have never visited or learned about One80 Place, I would highly encourage it! They do offer tours, if you are interested. Awesome place, with amazing individuals!

Volunteering at one 80 place was such a fulfilling experience! I brought my daughter with me and we really had such a great time! All of the staff were amazing and the people were so thankful for the effort. I'm going back next Monday.
