Went for open skating with the kids (ages 6-19) for the first time here. Overall, everyone had a good time skating without freezing! Staff was friendly and facility has its own parking. Downside, the skates we rented were in poor condition. They also had limited sizes by the time they got to us some of us had to use a different size than what we needed. The building had a ceiling leak that was dripping on people (got me too and hope it was water).

Great family friendly facility and amazing staff! My whole family had a wonderful time skating at Rockin' Open Skate. There's have a TON of day and time offerings too so it's great if you're a busy family like us - highly recommend for a weekend or week night. Looking at the learn to skate program my little ones to keep them busy :)

Comfortable off-ice seating that’s not freezing, excellent decor with all kinds of hockey-related memorabilia, staff is always visible and willing to answer questions.

Service and rink is great and I have no complaints about rocket itself, however stick and puck booking may need to be changed a little. Some mom booked her 2, yes 2 kids for 10 stick and puck spots in a hour frame so her kids could be alone on the ice. So I would recommend making the max bookings about 5 so other people can actually play in their free time.

Would give zero stars if that were an option. They double booked during my daughter's birthday party and instead of working with to fix their mistake the manager shrugged and walked away. When I asked the front desk staff to call the owners (with the hopes of receiving some actual customer service) the owner did the equivalent of shrugging over the phone. Party was saved buy the quick thinking and action of several parents while the staff sat around on their phones trying to avoid us. Sales reps who booked the party are very easy to deal with but they don't work weekends and clearly don't know what they're doing since they were the ones that double booked.

This rink has the cutest coziest vibes!!! If you’re looking for a ski lodge feeling in your local neighborhood skate rink this is the place to go :)

My son played in a hockey tournament this past weekend (11/4/22-11/6/22) at Rocket Ice Skating Rink. Such a nice facility...like walking into a cozy Adirondack Lodge in Lake Placid! Clean facility and very nice staff. Had a great time!

The facility is fine. However, we had never been and we weren't advised by anyone that there were lockers (not upon checking in or renting skates) where we could keep our stuff. The lockers are not in line of sight after getting your rental skates, nor are there any signs for them. Everyone else left their shoes and things in the common area outside the rink, so we followed suit. (the rink confirmed this was common practice) My nephew ended up having his shoes stolen, along with other items that he tucked inside his shoes. (The other items were recovered later that night as the thief only wanted his shoes and his the other items inside a random locker, we discovered this on our own, the rink did not assist with the search.) The facility has signs all over saying they have cameras (but again no signs for lockers), so we asked to have them review the cameras. I'm not blaming the facility for the theft or our naivety. However, when we asked about reviewing the footage. We were advised none of the cameras actually work and haven't for years. I debated posting this review because now people will know the cameras don't work, which puts others at risk of theft, but maybe if they facility is actually concerned about theft, they'll fix their camera problem to prevent theft. And while we will not be returning to this rink, I hope this review helps others who will be going, to be aware that there are lockers and you should use them because the signs about cameras are empty threats. As a side note, yes, we made a police report as the shoes were Jordans. (again poor choice of footwear on my nephew's part to bring to a place where you have to remove them, but that doesn't justify the theft) We didn't find out the cameras don't work until after the police report was filed.
