Well we lived here for 13 months. Don’t expect something fancy here , it’s the basic . Good thing is , your apartment is furnished & also very close to Notre Dame , 15 minutes walk to be specific. Public transportation is just next to your door, which is free for Notre Dame students. Traders joes & eddy street commons not so far from here . You will get a pleasant neighborhood, but don’t walk around at midnight, also your bathtub & sink might get clogged frequently. In winter your electricity bill might be even higher , which is high in summer too , compared to other places . Don’t get upset seeing old furnishings & fittings, this is what you are paying for . I heard they have started renovation, so finger crossed. During our stay they provided other utilities free of cost . The new management keeping things organized, which I appreciate. They refund our security deposits within 2 months since we left & the deduction amount satisfied us . If you want to minimize your cost during your Notre Dame time with a basic package , this is a good place to be .

Renting from Irish Gold has been amazing. As a graduate student at Notre Dame, I have benefited greatly from their flexibility, understanding, and ability to attend to maintenance requests rapidly. They have been extremely accommodating when we have had to sublease for the summer and their staff is readily available through email and phone call. I hope to continue renting from them for the remainder of my time at ND.

Irish Gold has been very great to me. I am a graduate student at Notre Dame. They have both always maintained a professional demeanor with us and have also always been willing to show kindness and flexibility knowing that they are working with students whose lives are always on the move. Both houses we have rented from them have been nice, conveniently located, and affordable.

One year and counting with my wife and our 5-year-old child in an Irish Gold apartment, very good location, quiet and safe area and a work team available to help with any questions or problems. Grateful for the experience and willing to recommend as a good option.

It's a great a place to live if you are new to Notre Dame and haven't decided to buy a car. Close to School, close to Trader Joe's, and the neighborhood is great. Above all the people work here are really nice and responsive.

Maintenance here is really good! They're very quick to respond to requests and do a great job at fixing things.

We had a problem with the hot water in the shower during the holidays when maintenance was out and called emergency maintenance, Terry called us back a minute later and was so quick, efficient, helpful, and friendly. He made sure someone can come in to fix it. After a little chat, he literally fixed the problem for us while on the phone. He is very knowledgeable and I could tell has a lot of experience in his work. Thank you!!!

The people in the office are AMAZING! Especially Amber, she is always prompt communicator and easy to work with
