So far the best place I’ve ever stayed at. And I’m not just talking for myself but for my 4 best friends who stayed with me as well. The mid century furnitures will make you travel even more! What a wonderful decoration. Great taste! Erin was the best host ever. Everything was ready for us and sweet details were added. The desert, the silence, the telescope, the jacuzzi, the nature, the perfect beds AND the turntable. I couldn’t dreamt for more! Thank you for this wonderful house that clearly helped building souvenirs and realizing some dreams :) I recommend this place :)

Motojave is a dream rental! The retro decor and overall styling is absolutely spot on. Insta-worthy moments at every turn. And as far as amenities go, Erin has truly thought of everything! Plenty of fans, humidifiers, towels, hangers, wall hooks, and outlets, a well-stocked kitchen, clear and concise instructions located in key areas, etc. I could go on and on. And the house couldn’t be more FUN. Our family had a blast enjoying the pool, hot tub, hammocks, swing, shuffle board table, and dart board. We made countless memories, and can’t wait to come back!

If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay and the best super host ever you’ve found the place! Everything about the property from the owner to the decor and the placement was spot on. I love the entire feeling of being here only danger is you will not want to leave! The rooms are super cozy and each has its own personality. The details that went into this Airbnb are outstanding. There’s hidden treasures in every corner yet somehow the spaces are so minimalist and soothing! My favorite details were the window connecting the large kitchen (you can cook in with all of your friends) to the dining room; the gold details in the furthest bathroom (SO ELEGANT) and ofc the oh so wonderful bed outside you can lay cozy in while you watch billions of stars twinkle back at you. 🌟 Offering the best location to unwind from everyday life, connect with your friends or yourself and just a little drive outside of Joshua tree park! Anyways to wrap this up before I over stay my welcome! I simply can not tell you how truly fantastical this HOME and owners are… so I guess you will just have to stay for yourself!!! 😜

I absolutely LOVED our time at Motojave! It was easy to find, the property and the home were so well kept, clean and beautiful! The home was decorated to fit the 50s history of the property and the attention to detail in all the large and small decor was outstanding. The beds were VERY comfortable (both inside and outside) and we made sure to use the outdoor bed for stargazing! The pool was perfect in the desert heat and the Joshua Trees on the property made it even more enjoyable. Joshua Tree NP could be seen from the house and was a short drive to the park entrance. We went to the park at sunset and it was breathtaking. Local cuisine is fantastic or you can cook at the Air BNB because it has every kitchen necessity you could think of. Our host was wonderful and even left us a personalized note upon our arrival. We cannot wait to go back!

Staying at Erin’s desert home was the ultimate dream. Her home boasts major mid century modern vibes that will take you on a groovy journey through the past. The design and decor is thoughtful and intentional making it feel like a home away from home. Everything from a popcorn maker, s’more skewers, pool, hot tub, Weber grill, record player (with a tasteful collection), telescope, and star gazing couch made our trip even more special and magical. The home is so comfy and inviting that you will never want to leave. It is also very close the park and the amazing town. Don’t think twice about booking this spot we will be back for sure!!!

Wow! What an amazing stay in this little slice of JT heaven. We've been to the area dozens of times but something about Motojave is really special. Having both a pool and hot tub was such a delight on those very hot days and warm windy nights! We and the kids spent so much time really being able to enjoy the outside space because of this. But what makes Motojave really special is the charm and thoughtful details in the house. Everything from arriving to a handwritten card, sweeties for the kids etc. To the retro cool theme of the house - it was the perfect balance of "oldie- cool dated" whilst still feeling extremely comfortable. There were so many games we enjoyed with the kids but one of the biggest highlights was the stargazing bed! Thoroughly enjoyed for many hours by us all! Really cannot recommend this place more and we definitrly hope to be back!

I had a remarkable time in Joshua Tree with a few friends at Motojave Retreat! Our bedrooms were large, fabulously designed and private! We spent time relaxing in the large pool during the day, basking in the spa at night and enjoying a late nightcap while stargazing on a fabulous bed. A great space to hang out and to return to after exploring Joshua Tree. We are definitely planning another trip there!

I’m not totally sure where to start! This place was amazing before we got there. The host was so informative and so excited that we were headed to her airbnb. Her communication and tips were spot on!! She even had the heater turned up so when we arrived it was so cozy. Walking into Motojave was an experience. We toured the entire place immediately because at every tuen there was something cool to see. We were excited to see what each room had in store. And omg OMG the nostalgia warmed my heart, just really unique. We hope to go back again, the late night jacuzzi while enjoying the peaceful air and staring at the stars. Can’t wait to be in the pool when it’s warmer out. Thank you for the cool getaway spot! Ohh and I brought a couple of teenagers who absolutely adored this place and really wanna go back!!
