I have nothing but the best experience and reviews for Kumon. I was enrolled in the Math program, and not only did it challenge and engage me, but it also instilled a permanent confidence and an interest for math and problem solving. The Kumon method involves self-learning, which created a strong foundation and understanding of the basics, as well as discipline and concentration - something I really struggled with prior to my enrollment. Ms. Lena fostered a friendly learning environment and really encouraged me to be a better student. She truly cares about all her students, and does everything she can to help them succeed. Her passion for learning and her students is inspiring. I really appreciate all Kumon has taught me, the patience and constant support from Ms. Lena, and the amazing opportunities this program has granted me.

Kumon is an amazing program and one every parent should invest in for their children. All three of my children were enrolled in the program and I can say without a doubt that they benefited in the long run. Through the program the students are able to master and fully understand everything they learn. Ms. Lena and her staff do an excellent job creating a friendly and welcoming environment for all the students and I saw that reflect on my children’s own attitudes and desire to become better students. Kumon and Ms. Lena have been a great asset to my family. I love Kumon because it teaches your child to master what they are learning not just moving them along. My daughter was always a grade level or 2 above in math. She is now 19 and in college and she still has a relationship with Ms. Lena. My son now attends for both subjects and Ms. Lena and the Kumon technique has been instrumental in his learning path so far. I highly recommend this center your won’t be disappointed. Thank you

My son has been attending Kumon since the 3rd grade and is now a senior. We followed Lena to this location when she opened it as she is an amazing teacher. Kumon has given him an edge in school and has increased his confidence and love for math . Lena takes pride in knowing all of students and provides them with support and motivation to be their best.

My son was signed up for Kumon in February of this year and in only 2 months, knowing his basic math facts has improved tremendously! He loves the staff and enjoys going to Kumon! Ms. Lena is awesome and at first meet, you will definitely know that she has a passion for kids to learn! I highly recommend Kumon to all students, especially if your child needs help with closing any learning gaps!!!!

Kumon review My daughter was turning 4 years old in a few weeks when she started going to Kumon of Reisterstown in March 2022. During my initial meeting with Ms Lena, she explained the program in detail. She also provided a timeline for each milestone and stated that my daughter would be reading at grade level by November 2022. To be honest, I was skeptical about the program before the meeting and I was even more skeptical when Ms Lena provided the timeline. I said to myself “she is really trying to sell me on this program”. However I decided to give it a try. I figured if it works great and if it didn’t work, at least I gave it a try. Within 3 months, my daughter could combine letter sounds to say words and within 6 months, she was reading which was ahead of the timeline. My daughter started pre-k in August 2022 and as of March 2023, she’s at grade 1 level in reading. The program really works and you will not regret the decision to enroll your kids. Ms Lena and her staff are great and dedicated to the success of each student.

Enrolling in Kumon was one of the best decisions of my life. The lessons I learned there not only helped me in my studies but also in my everyday life. I learned to always work hard, to never give up, and that there is always a solution to a problem no matter what. Ms. Lena, the instructor at Kumon, is one of the very best people I know. She is caring, kind, always willing to help, and someone who I consider a mentor for life. I will be attending UMD Honors in the fall of 2022 with the plan of majoring in mathematics. Without Kumon, without Ms. Lena, none of this would’ve been possible. They helped me realize my love for math, and then helped me excel in it. Kumon is a great program and one that I would recommend for every child!

As a student I can say that I have learned so much that In could have never have learned in school. All the staff are great and all the students are treated with great care and attention. If your child is struggling academically then I would highly recommend the Kumon of Reisterstown!
