We started with two barbacoa, one carnitas, and one asada tacos along with a tamale. The carnitas with onion, cilantro, and lime juice is arguably the best taco in town (previously I would have said any of the El Rinconcito tacos). Went back for a second round to get another carnitas and added a side of Birria sauce for dipping. If I don't end up back here within a week to try all the tacos I would be shocked. Great outdoor location with some fun games. The only downside was that the music was a little loud but we were sitting slightly close to a speaker so overall a non issue.

Cute little place for fast mexican food! They sell texas rice, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, bowls, and staple Mexican antojitos and snacks! Atmosphere is very relaxed, a different kind of experience than the usual Mexican dine-in. Can’t wait for the bar to open and menu to expand. They are still working things out but worth the wait!

As taco lovers we were super excited to see that a New Mexican spot was opening up in town.. We were not disappointed. The tacos were pretty good and the rice was flavorful and fluffy! Between my husband and I, we tried the chicken, steak, and shrimp soft tacos, as well as the hard shell chicken and steak tacos. All of the proteins had a good flavor and were cooked well and there was a decent meat to topping ratio. We’ll definitely be back, especially since they’re open late on Fridays 😊

Sooo good! It's hard to find good, authentic Mexican. This is definitely the spot! The staff is wonderful too.

Best tacos in the boro, love that they have authentic corn tortillas instead of the store-bought ones like other restaurants around here use. Prices are not too bad either. Azul is definitely one of my new regular places for lunch.

Got the Loco Burrito with chicken. Worth the price and did not leave hungry. Definitely plan to return

Best Mexican place in town. Quality Mexican food has been long over due in Statesboro. Their food is delicious. Try the birria tacos and churos. Can’t wait to see them grow
