My son has been going to Hoop Dreams for over 4 years now. And this is honestly by far the BEST training facility I have ever seen. Not only are the coaches top notch basketball trainers, but they are all amazing individuals. You can tell that the coaches really care about the kids. They have separate basketball classes to teach fundamentals for all levels (from beginners to advanced), but more important they teach teamwork, leadership and hard work. These are priceless skills, that the kids will be able to take with them into their adulthood.

I am a retired high school basketball and football coach (33 years). I bring my grandson to training twice a week. I’ve been more than impressed with Jocelyn the Trainer. Her emphasis on doing it right and her demanding teaching style works. She demonstrates the skills required in all of the drills. She relates well with the students because they see her passion for their own improvement. She requires the best from each student and challenges their thinking while emphasizing effort, attitude, preparation, and listening. Jocelyn will bring out the best in every player because that’s what she’s all about.

My son has been training with Hoop Dreams for over a year now. We love all the coaches. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and cares about the kids becoming better players. Communication is great. They always send out a lot of emails and keep everyone updated. I can only recommend them to anyone, who has a basketball obsessed child.

We were introduced to this program through a friend. I think it has greatly improved my son’s basketball skills. Plus, he has fun and enjoys going. The coaches do a good job of maximizing every minute of the hour.

Coach Jocelyn trained our son during our summer vacation and never have we ever seen any coach work him as hard as she worked him. While she is tough, there was never a day he didn’t want to go to training. Her tough love approach to basketball training was exactly what he needed. She wanted to see him succeed encouraging him to push himself in areas that he needed to improve and cheered him on when he did. We would 1000% recommend Jocelyn. We just wish she was in Cali.

Joslyn is an amazing coach with not only the skill and knowledge to coach my 10 year old but the patient and enthusiasm to keep him excited about the game. They are attentive to our requests as we were simply looking to create a more confident athlete with our child. Our son looks forward to lessons on the weekends and thoroughly enjoys hoop dreams Ellie Academy! They are great with any level and skill of basketball player.
