Stoney Knob Cafe is so cool! The decor is unique, the staff is friendly, and the food was delicious. My only regret is that we didn’t find the sooner in our vacation. If you’re out their way, stop in for some great food.

Our favorite Sunday Brunch in town! An excellent example of how a local restaurant just blows away any chain in town. Super fun / funky atmosphere. Great service, with an excellent variety of delicious options. Mimosas, Bloody Marys etc… The hubs thinks the pancakes are the best in town. We both really enjoy the biscuits and gravy. My daughter highly recommends the banana French toast, my mama always gets the breakfast burrito. My favorite is the Shalom Stuffed French Toast (AMAZING!!) Pre-Covid we went here nearly every Sunday. As things were opening up, we have gone once in awhile (because golly we miss this place for brunch.) We went this morning and it was ON POINT! I wish I would’ve taken photos, next time we go I will take photos and add them.

We loved the decor and unique environment her. Service and food were great. I’m not a big fan of Brussels sprouts but those were the best I have ever had with the signature burger steak item. Good stuff!

I don’t know who comes to this place and won’t leave a 5 star review. This place is amazing! The food is out of this world and the service is friendly and really really good. This place deserves a 5.0 for sure. We are from Florida, my wife is a damn foodie so therefore I know good food and good service first hand. This place is a first class establishment. 100% recomendable.

Omg, this place is amazing. Impromptu trip and an impromptu stop resulted in the best birthday dinner I've experienced in a very long time. The charm of this place was nostalgia meets fine dining. The food was amazing. The servers were amazing. Definitely worth the wait and definitely an amazing experience. ❤️ Thank you!!!

Oh.my.goodness! I love this place! A friend and I were going to be in the area, so I made lunch reservations here. We were not disappointed! Riley was attentive to our table, the food was delicious (Tuscan Shrimp and dessert was rice pudding brulee) and the atmosphere was very fun, eccentric and eclectic! Kind of hobknobbish in a way! Don't hesitate to make a reservation stop in and dine!

It's been over 4 years since I've been to Stoney Knob and last night my brother and I decided to hit it up for dinner. We started with a couple of cocktails and fried calamari as an app. The fried calamari was seriously the best I've ever had. Lightly fried and super tender, not chewy or rubbery at all. We then decided to get three different entrees to try. We got the deep dish pizza, chicken carbonara, and the special for that night, which was a pesto topped grilled salmon over mac and cheese. After eating all three of these dishes, I started questioning life and why I've waited over 4 years to revisit. Everything was so amazing, including the service from our server, Abby. I'll definitely be back very soon!

Husband and I loved this place. We had the gnudi and duck spring rolls for apps, deep dish pizza and seafood risotto special and for dessert a key lime pie and baklava ice cream cake. Everything was delicious and I especially loved the cucumber basil martini.

Wow, wow, wow. This place was such a surprise. It looks like a diner from the outside and the art on the inside is all over the place…like a floozy on one wall, a bust of David with an ice cream cone for a nose and the last supper on another wall. Looks like Andy Warhol decorated the place when he had one too many. But this food lets you get past the totally eclectic decor. It was amazing. I know this is going to sound a little strange but we had a scallops and pork belly dish over a type of potato pancake with a berries drizzle. It’s some of the best scallops I’ve ever eaten and I’m from Florida. The mushroom ravioli; incredible and the salmon special was wonderful. The prices are in line with local fine dining but worth every penny. Don’t miss this place. Make sure to make reservations because this place fills up fast.

This place was great. My chicken salad was delicious and the crab cakes were very good. Our waitress was very friendly and took real good care of us. We will be making a special trip to go back.

A unique place with a really cool vibe and a menu that has something for everyone. The interior of this place is funky and probably unlike any restaurant you’ve ever visited. Just check out the pictures! The Duck Spring Rolls and fried oyster appetizers were very good! We thought this was the best part of the meal. We ordered a couple cocktails, the Southern Gentleman and a regular old fashioned, both of which were decent. Our dinner meal was good, but I couldn’t get past the feta cheese on the chicken pot pie. I didn’t think that was necessary and it didn’t add to the dish. The hamburger steak was tasty and the potatoes were excellent. Finally, I thought the portions were good. I can’t imagine that many people leave this place hungry. I really want to visit again for brunch, because I imagine this place may be dialed in for a brunch menu.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Food was excellent. Staff was friendly and kind. A definitely unique experience. Whimsical Greek atmosphere. I hear dinner is busy so went for lunch and was not disappointed.

Everything about this was a great experience! Best omelet I’ve ever had (omleta Zamora), coffee was well done, and the spicy Bloody Mary was a delight. Love the vibe and service. Would love to go back whenever I’m in town again.

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Beautiful decor and wonderful service. Our waitress, Tamila, took care of all of our needs and gave great service. Very diverse menu with decent pricing. Great value for amount of food you get. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting to experience something new. Kudos to the whole staff. Keep up the great work!

This time we came for lunch (Sunday Brunch the other time). Love the eclectic atmosphere, casual gourmet food (Grouper Piccata and Pollo ravioli) and great service. Have never been disappointed.

Casual dining with upscale food. We had not been to the Stoney Knob Cafe in several years, and we were pleasantly surprised to see the vast improvement since then. Our friends made an early reservation for 5:00 and we were glad they did. It didn’t take long for the crowd to come in. We were greeted by Rachel, our waitress, who was extremely professional. We ordered wine and beer while we waited for our friends to arrive, and they ordered wine as we perused the menu. My wife ordered the chicken pot pie, and I ordered the Good Girl pasta, which was loaded with shrimp. Both were delicious. Our friends had Caesar salads and ordered the scallops & pork belly, and the Greek style lamb shank. All of our meals were well prepared and delicious. There was a little room left for dessert, so we split the key lime pie and they split the coconut cream pie. A perfect ending for a wonderful dinner. If you are looking for something special and don’t want to fight the crowds in Asheville, drive towards Weaverville and stay at the Stoney Knob Cafe!

My fiancé and I are visiting Weaverville and our Airbnb host, Sparklebark recommend this place. I got the Korean tacos and he got the Jamaican wrap. I don’t know what’s better, the food or the decor. It’s a really cool spot with tasty food!

A nice unique location. The pizza was enough to split. The staff were all very kind and attentive. The restaurant itself has an interesting look and design inside. The menu has a wide selection and you can likely find something you like whatever your taste. If you haven’t tried it yet give it a shot

Best of the best! I had been here several times for Brunch but went for dinner for the 1st time the other night. I am amazed to say, I think it was even better than the brunch! The eclectic day core and the delicious food is guaranteed for a great experience.

What a fantastic, last minute dinner find after a long day of hiking! The food served was quite a surprise given the almost diner-like outside aesthetic. Delicious cuisine: the grilled octopus appetizer, sea bass and risotto balls (like arancini), deconstructed chicken pot pie, and lemony chicken picatta were awesome. A little pricey, but honestly, the food was great. Our server was nice and the whimsical and quirky decor was really cool.

Lunch was excellent. Ordered the sea bass special, wedge salad and Greek salad. All 3 were great. And the atmosphere is very eclectic

Special chef and menu with lamb grouper Italian steak pasta chicken..this menu really has it all. A bit cramped on a busy night but worth the hectic pace. Excellent food. Service varies from 3.5 to 5. Good winelist.

We decided to have a late lunch on our way home. We have dined here before. The food was fresh and delicious. My wife and I enjoyed our meals. Our waitress was Rachel. She was prompt, friendly, and checked several times to see if everything was alright. We will be coming next time we are in the area.

Corned beef hash was perfectly delicious. Portion was generous and eggs cooked to perfection. Hubby had cheeseburger and he said it was amazing. Atmosphere is eclectic and has a nice vibe. Definitely will check out regular menu (brunch menu today)

Great food, nice staff and fun atmosphere here! My favorite so far is the Blue Ridge Insalata. The combination of flavors is excellent- marinated chicken, viniagrette and goat cheese, with strawberries and candied walnuts. I crave this now!

Looking for a delicious but also eclectic and interesting “almost fine dining” spot? This is it. The atmosphere is straight out of the 1960’s — but like a sci-fi movie. You can’t beat the decor. Every room is different. The food was fantastic. I had the shrimp and sausage… something. Can’t recall the name. It was perfectly done. The shrimp were perfectly done. My wife got the Greek platter, and she loved it. We sampled several of the cocktails. The cucumber martini was the winner, but the gin fizz was also really interesting. Lastly, the service was perfect. We had a nice young woman named Indica who took care of us, and she made excellent recommendations, the food came out quickly, and she was super friendly. You can tell when a restaurant is run well, and this is one of those where it’s clear everyone knows their job. I love coming to places like this. Well done, Stoney Knob. This was a great experience.
