From the organization of Phyllis in the office to the pilot, Danny and flight team Eric to the celebration with Tom in the field truly a memorable event with my family. Very professional staff, courteous and fun! Yes, a bucket list item for my wife and I. Beautiful view and stress free flight. They made us feel very comfortable and safe. Even included me in the setup and take down process. Strongly recommend them for your next adventure while in Asheville.

Ashville Hot Air Balloons is amazing! We had the pleasure of being with Addison. He's wonderful. Very polite/funny and very knowledgeable! Cannot say enough good things about him/the experience. I was terrified before going up. It was 0% scary once off the ground. You don't even realize it. It's not the same as being on high ground/tall building. If you are scared do it anyway! The basket feels so secure. I would do it 1,000 times over. We loved every sec. Def a bucket list adventure. Worth every penny.

Absolutely an unreal experience! Tom and his daughter were our pilot on the ride and we could not have had a better experience! I'd recommend going in fall/spring or winter.. the cooler the air the less they have to ignite and you can have more peace and informative times!! We went around mid April!

Large group of people but my group was all friendly. Very relaxing way to spend an hour. The whole thing takes about 3 hours though we all also had to wait for one couple who didn't respect the group's time. I'd like to go in a smaller basket with fewer people next time. But floating over the blue ridge mountains is incredible! I also paid for a photographer and I genuinely liked receiving some photos of us floating taken from the ground (why I got a photographer) but looking through the quality I wouldn't have paid for pictures of me twice. I understand they had a few people but they were taken hastily.

Celebrated our 38th Wedding Anniversary taking a Hot Air Balloon ride that I will never forget. There are no words to describe our experience. Everyone was so wonderful (fun and professional)from beginning to end and we are so happy that we used this company. We actually felt like we were with friends! Absolutely amazing experience!

My daughter and I celebrated her 16th birthday with a hot air balloon ride with Pilot Louise of Asheville Balloon Company. I can’t say enough good things about our experience! They went the extra mile to make the hot air balloon ride something you will never forget. The view is amazing! The crew and pilots are so fun and informative. I could of stayed there all day listening to their lessons on hot air balloons and their personal stories of flights in Asheville and all around the world. Even after the memorable views and landing the fun didn’t end. We then met with everyone for a champagne toast and snacks at a lovely spot. They were so sweet to sing her happy birthday too. Such a wonderful experience! We even got to help celebrate a couples proposal that occurred in another balloon! So memorable!

We had a private flight with Louise and she was super sweet and knowledgeable. All the crew were kind and professional. Phyllis took amazing photos [which are extra but worth it!] and they had great communication. It was an experience of a lifetime and I would certainly book with them again.

From the website to follow up emails, communication, "what to bring", directions, the crew, the professionalism, the feeling of security, safety, everything was absolutely perfect. I proposed in the balloon (she said yes) and the crew knew about it for many months in advance. I've gone skydiving, para sailing, scuba diving, etc. And while they're all exciting, when you see that balloon start going up you realize at that moment there's no back up chute, just you, the weather, and your balloon pilot, who was a master at his craft in my opinion. 10/10 would do again, you will not regret going with Asheville Balloon Company. Flying in a hot air balloon has been in my family and I's bucket list and we finally got to fufill that with Asheville Ballon Company! The views were breathtaking and beautiful! Our original flight date was canceled due to weather, but Tom our pilot and owner and Phyllis worked with us and got us scheduled for the following day! Thank you for making Father's Day and our first anniversary a memory we will never forget!

Best balloon trip we have had! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. They did a multi-ballon ascent which made it feel like a party. We have been ballooning in 4 states and can't wait to go back here!

We had tried several times previously to take a flight and the weather was not cooperative. This time weather was ideal and we had an awesome flight! Very smooth take off and landing! Tom was awesome at helping to calm my anxiety, and the after flight celebration was awesome! If you want the best and safest time, this is the company to fly with!

The flight was an experience of a lifetime and the landing zone touchdown was perfect. This company always had safety in mind first, putting me and my daughter at ease.
