Gem Avenue was recommended to me by a friend and I went for the first time last week. The woman who gave me the rundown of the store was very welcoming. They have bags and things to help you keep track of what you’re buying/looking at and they also have a chart to help you know what they have in the store! They have some absolutely gorgeous pieces and really nice prices. There were some stones I’ve had trouble finding in other stores that I’m excited to go back for. It was a great experience and I’ve been telling all of my friends about it since! I genuinely can’t wait to go back.

What a lovely store, seriously! The ladies working there are so nice, and helpful. The location is fairly easy to get to by taking the blue line train and maybe a 10 minute walk. They have a large variety of rocks, minerals, fossils, etc. Some beads. A good selection of both large and small specimens at various price points. They also sell pendants and bracelets. I purchased several stones here that are very hard to find elsewhere. I'm glad I got to stop by this shop, it was the highlight of my trip to Charlotte

The best crystal shop in NC!! Not only do they sell the most gorgeous quality crystals, gems, and minerals they are the kindest people, and they do not over price their pieces! I cannot say one bad thing about this company! Its ran by a family of beautiful humans, that make their customers feel like family too! I am blessed to have them so close to home!!

We spent a good 45 minutes just walking around looking at their rocks and minerals, and honestly could have spent more time. They were incredibly nice and knowledgeable. We will make this a part of our Charlotte visit every time we are in town

Absolutely gorgeous specimens. Great prices as well as a wide range of items. They have raw forms, polished, towers, spheres, jewelry, and more!!

What a great selection of gems! The only drawback is that they are still labeling everything, so identifying all the stones is challenging. But the employees were very helpful and the owner (I presume) came over and spoke to me by name. Ultimately I found the gems I'd wanted and as well as a few surprises. Nice people and a good collection: Definitely recommended!
