Let me start by saying thank you for a great and memorable trip out on some yellowtail! Let’s Get Wet was recommended without hesitation from the local Tackle Shop at Dana Landing, our initial charter was cancelled from a different dive shop and the gentleman from the tackle shop recommended We contact Let’s get wet. Thankfully Chris was available and the shop outfitted my out of town dive buddy on the spot. And within 1 hour we were on the water. The dive shop and the boat were in pristine condition. Captain Chris was up top spotting the floating kelp pads for us to dive. He provided some dive robes to wear to keep from getting chilled between dives and some bean bags to lounge on and relax. Going pad to pad diving we found the yellowtails and I now have another great adventure in the books. Again Chris and his shop staff Derrick saved us from not getting out on a dive, which was the sole purpose of my Army buddy coming into town. -Great and professional service, upfront expectations and positive feedback on how we were handling ourselves in the water. -excellent gear and a beautiful boat. - checked out some Whales that made an appearance, and a pod of 20 dolphins playing around made this trip one for the books. - It’s not a question of if I will charter through Let’s get Wet but how soon can I get back on board with them. Just finished Beginner Free Drive Training and it was fantastic. Everyone was kind, patient, and super knowledgeable. They offered a no-stress, relaxed, and super effective approach in this class. I felt safe and comfortable the entire time which was made learning so much easier. They also foster an awesome sense of community and belonging even barbecuing after day 3! I highly recommend this shop for free dive training. I also loved shopping at the shop itself, they have done the work for you by keeping a well thought out but simple selection in the shop. This allowed me to be able to buy what I needed and know it was the right choice! Thanks you everyone! Can't wait to dive with you again!

We went Spearfishing with Chris and the Just Get Wet Crew. My boys and I had never been before and were stoked to try. Chris was an amazing Captain and put us on the fish right away. We all took multiple shots and missed at first but with some tips from the Pit Viper Master, Chris we all ended up landing fish. Awesome experience, Chris even cleaned the fish for us after. I would highly recommend going out with him any chance you get! Can't wait to do it again! Thanks Chris!!!

I attended the intro to free diving coupled with spearfishing class. This class exceeded my expectations I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The Instructors Jake,Nathan, and Chris who operated the boat were all phenomenal Instructors and a pleasure to learn from I am in their debt for introducing me to a sport I will cherish for life. I am a complete amateur and asked a lot of questions their patience knowledge and understanding as Instructors is top notch Thank you Gents for a wonderful class and a unbelievable spearfishing trip absolute amazing adventure. If you are at all interested in learning to Freedive highly recommend you take any of their classes that might appeal to you it will be money well spent and a fantastic opportunity to learn from the best

Awesome class Hands on and in depth . My dude Nathan was spot on with all his teaching made sure I was good and safe and knew what to do for all scenarios. This place opened a new chapter for me 🤙🤙🤙. Be sure to visit shop and get some stuff

Their Coronados day trip (7-3pm) is awesome! The grey whales were out in force on the way to the islands and it was beautiful weather. The captains were lovely people while keeping us all safe and pointing out the depths, structure and species on each spot. Everyone got fish and we were surrounded by a large pod of dolphins on the way back. Great way to spend the day, but I'm thinking about their SCI overnight in the future.

The staff and instructors at Just Get Wet are very kind and professional. The gear they carry is epic and the instruction is nice in that we can take our time to get certified. I feel this takes so much pressure off of students and really helps to get us dialed into the important safety concepts in freediving. Also, they create a great community of divers with the ongoing line sessiosn on Sundays. Great vibes all around !

Had an amazing time during my ‘intro to free diving’ class!! The instructors create an incredibly comfortable environment to learn in and it gave me a ton of confidence in the water. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to try out free diving or just trying to get in the water more!

Really wonderful experience with the dive shop! Chris & Brandon were incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and patient. I felt very safe and well taken care of, which enabled good exploration of my own mental state and the underwater world. I liked the emphasis on tuning into your own body and progress at your own pace, instead of any competitiveness of the sport (even though both of them are amazing divers). Our intro class ended with a cook-out and hang-out with the broader free-diving community. People were welcoming and eager to share their free-diving journey, which was just lovely (and kudos to the JustGetWet team for nurturing the community!). Highly recommend.

I have been fortunate enough to take 2 spearfishing trips to the Coronado Islands with this merry band. They did NOT disappoint! Captain Chris was very knowledgeable and knew exactly where to go for the best opportunity to be "fish on!" Both times we came back with fish and even had some neat experiences with the local wildlife (seals, sea lions, and dolphins). We were lucky enough to have Nathan join us as well to capture our experiences once there. I strongly recommend asking for the additional service/availability of Nathan. He's worth it! I plan on being out spearfishing at least once a quarter with this crew, once a month if I can find the time. BOOK YOUR TRIP! You won't regret it.

I took the intro to freediving class with Josh. The class members had a range of experience, from those just getting into the water to people who had been in the water for a while. I felt that everyone was able to pull some information out from the class that they hadn't known before. He taught at a great pace that allowed for conversation and questions. I came out of the class a safer diver and am very excited to continue to dive with the instructors and those that took the course with me.

Recommended by a buddy of mine who used to be an instructor, I took their Wave 1 course and absolutely loved it. A lot of very good/important information and coaching about diving safety. The instructors are helpful, approachable, and love seeing people get out there and get better. Amazing community as well.

I took the beginner freediver class with JGW. This team is amazing! Super flexible with the schedule and provide lots of support in all aspects. Big shout out to my instructor, Brittani! She is the BEST! JGW truly helps the student to learn, be successful and enjoy freediving. Definitely will come back for more classes soon.
