Dangerous place. Last Saturday a shooting occurred in front of apts. One person went to hospital. Several cars struck and damaged. Media for some reason won't report.

The people that live there is nice. but the office people are a nightmare, they are rude, careless, backstabbing, lieing type. if you live here i would find away to avoid the office at all cost. drop your payment in the drop box. if you try to put someone on your lease might take awhile if not longer than a year, they have had all paper work and documents they needed and i still aint one my fiances lease its been two years. They dont do there job like they have agreeed to do. THEY NEED NEW OFFICE PEOPLE THAT WILL DO THERE JOB. And dont talk to much to the maintance people those are her snitches

Racist area building need to be torn down all apt should be 2 bed rooms 2 baths with washer and dryer .with ac heat, HUD restrictive to water use and electricity senior citizen should pay 10% on income based housing discount on rent and free transportation on bus .security guard needs to be put back in main enterence and in back gate . back gate need to be upgraded for handy capped walkway as steps are to steep to walk down and carry grocery's up the steps from west gate shopping area . tree needs to be removed in back of apt 14g and fix side walk

I've lived in Hillcrest now since December 2018. It is what you make of it as far as the people and the apartments itself. I live in a3 bedroom, 1 bathroom but I get public assistance and thankfully only pay$26/Month!!! Only thing I wish were different would be maybe on-site laundry, weather we had to payfor it or not! It's just not economically viable in that sense - especially when most of us have to rely on the bus for main transportation and we have no laundromats even close by so it sucks and most of us have kids... And it's just too much.

Will always be my home. It's not perfect, but what place is?

The rent is the right price an over all really good people. If they know you :-)

Home sweet Home sweet Home 💗 So I've been here for 2 years and before I moved here people told me all kinds of bad things about it and I gotta say none of it was true, everyone has been cool to me or at least left me about my biz and not bothered me. If you are scared here there's probably something about you not the people of Hillcrest, I'm just telling it like it is for me. 🤘Shout-out to "the hill" and "D-block" stay strong and carry on 😁
