Such a wonderful theater! I've attended performances since I was a child, 40+ years ago. The quality never fades. Even with a lot of people ingress and egress is always fast. The venue is kept clean, bathrooms are really accessible, and seats are wide.

Wedding reception held in hall on west side of building. The staff was extremely friendly, quick to help, correct or serve. Beautiful inside and fantastic view overlooking river into the evening. Recommend to any couple looking for that special place to have their reception.

We went to see “To Kill a Mockingbird”. Staging and acting was amazing. But we couldn’t hear the actors. What is going on with the sound! We spent hundreds of dollars for those tickets and was so disappointed. I’ll think twice before going to another show there.

Marcus Performing Arts Center puts on fantastic, entertaining shows. The prices are more or less affordable, especially for a city like Milwaukee. The only downside is that the building itself isn’t very nice to look at. This is underscored but the other beautiful theatres in the area like Riverside, the Pabst, and the MSO theatre.
