Last night, my husband and I along with friends had an absolutely delicious meal at the fabulous Kuma Sushi Restaurant. The server was lovely, helpful and knowledgeable. This young woman made some terrific recommendations and every food item was fresh and scrumptious! I wish I had taken pictures of the food but we started eating immediately. I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. We will return soon. Thank you.

After driving 2000 miles on our honeymoon road trip, Kuma was the perfect one week anniversary dinner! The service was amazing, but somehow it was surpassed by the food. The avocado bomb was a fun and amazing dish, and even better when the server delivered a complimentary roll. The two rolls we ordered we complex and they melt in our mouths. I won’t say which ones, because choosing between rolls was nearly impossible. Even the bill service, complimented by slices of watermelon, was a step above. 1000 stars. Thank you for making our one week anniversary even better!

I love this place! The service here is so good the food is amazing. The only sushi place i go to in town. We love Kuma!

Great service, but could have been a little faster; My group were in a bit hurry and had to catch a show after the dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and the overall experience was excellent. I highly recommend this place.

I cannot express how good the sushi was! This place was incredibly delicious the sushi just melts away in your mouth. The service was on point too they are quick and one of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Will definitely return for some more. Thank you for an amazing lunch experience KUMA!!

Great all around experience great food fast service nice

Excellent sushi spot nestled in downtown Bakersfield. Their salmon and yellowtail rolls are top notch 👍🏽. The owners, Paul and Judy, make sure the restaurant has a very good vibe with cordial service and a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommended! They also have happy hour after 3PM 😁. Give this spot a try, you'll be glad you did!
