Oh my gosh, where do I start. These are the nicest, professional, caring people you will ever meet. They make sure you understand everything about your care ,before you even leave. 💯 I not only do the studies with research, but see them for my personal care and management. They have been there and got me back on track with my diabetes like three times now. The last time my A1C was like 12 something. It is now a 7.4. I was so happy. And they told me how proud they were of me. They made me feel so good. Thank you to all of you at Iowa Diabetes and Research. You are all the best 👍

My husband, Mike referred me to participate and couldn't have sent me to nicer people. Very patient, answering all my questions and they work well as a group. I am a hard person to draw blood from and thanks to Allie for always being around to do my draw. I always felt like I was in good hands. I will consider future studies.

I have had good experiences each time I’ve been there. I have also had some really long appointments when first getting started, so be prepared for the first few appointments to take a few hours. They are very thorough when gathering information about your health and living habits and making sure the study is safe for you. The entire staff is amazing!

This is Cathy! I have done numerous research studies and I go here for my Diabetes. The people in the research part are very caring and make it super fun. The clinic part is also very knowledgeable, caring and fun to talk too.

This is a wonderful place to receive diabetes care. The staff are knowledgeable, compassionate, and friendly. I appreciate their expertise and taking time to answer any questions I have. The studies I have participated in have all been positive. I am now on a longer study testing a medication to see if it will help decrease further cardiovascular events. The amazing thing is that I have better glucose control, am taking less insulin, and have lost weight- win, win , win! Highly recommend Iowa Diabetes Research!!

I highly recommend Iowa Diabetes! I have had two appointments there so far; and several phone calls. Just sitting in the waiting area you can learn a lot by watching the interaction of the staff! I learned all staff respect each other, are always professional, and truly care about the patients with a great passion working in this field. I have worked in the healthcare field and have retired but I would love to work there! Kudos to all the staff. I would like to acknowledge Kourtney and Christine who are closely working with me! Again if I had a family member or good friend needing this type of service I would want them to go there!
