I had a wonderful time learning to sail with this sailing club! The classes are strategically smaller, so you get a lot of hands-on experience and knowledge without having to compete with a lot of other students. The instructors know what they are doing, impart massive amounts of information, but also do it in a way that is fun and fascinating. I really can't say enough about this awesome place - if you're on the fence about lessons or joining the club, don't wait! It's a really awesome place.

The sailing school exceeded my expectations, and I owe a huge part of that to my outstanding instructors, Julian and Stuart. They are passionate about sailing and teaching others the art of it. Their enthusiasm is infectious, and their wealth of knowledge is truly impressive. They made learning to sail not only educational but also incredibly fun. They provided me with a strong foundation in sailing techniques and safety procedures, instilling confidence in me as I navigated the waters. If you're looking to embark on a sailing adventure and want exceptional instruction in a beautiful location, look no further than Kirkland Sailing Club. I’m excited to continue my sailing adventures thanks to the excellent foundation they provided. Thank you, Kirkland Sailing Club, for an unforgettable journey into the world of sailing!

My wife and I had a blast. It was our first time sailing. The instructors were fun and easy to talk to. Can't wait to get out on the water again. Thank you, it was great!

This class is an excellent way to enhance your docking skills to be more successful at docking. The class also teaches advanced maneuverability techniques. You will learn how to turn the boat at the fulcrum point to quickly turn the boat with better control. You will learn motor turning for an outboard motor both backwards and forwards which is very helpful. I highly recommend this class! Its much more than docking practice and a fun day on the water.

If you live on the Eastside and love to sail, want to learn to sail, or get into sailboat racing this is the club for you. I had day sailed for many years, but I decided to get into sailboat racing. So, I looked around at my options and settled on Kirkland Sailing Club and it has been a great experience from many aspects, but certainly a boating and community perspective. The club owner and instructors are great!

I attended the training class of Kirkland Sailing Club and joined club about 2 years ago. Very professional and well managed. The location is very convenient for eastside residents. Strong recommend.

This is a great club to learn sailing. Julian Croxall was my coach for the Basic Keelboat course over 3 days last in 2022. It was a very rewarding and eye-opening experience for me that I will always treasure. They had a lot of patience with me - a true novice while I learned the basic maneuvers and vocabulary. The other students were great company as we shared this unforgettable experience.

I had a great experience taking the basic keelboat course. The instructors want you to learn and help you along the way. They provided all the information you are required to learn but give you the freedom to learn for yourself. I’ll be joining the club thanks to them.
