Stopped to use the 24 hour restroom at 6:30 pm on a Saturday afternoon. All but one of the toilets in the women's restroom were filled to the brim with poop and toilet paper, with dirty water overflowing from several. A sign outside noted that the welcome center is open M-F, 9-5, but I would think that "24 hour restrooms" would be checked periodically on weekends to insure they were usable. Did not see any signs indicating how to inform that cleaning was needed. What a way to be welcomed to Texas.

Convenient on and off the highway, friendly staff, bathroom super clean, activity books for kids, spacious, and ever free stickers! Worth stopping even if you don’t need to.

I had an awesome experience here in November 2019 and the agents who were working the front desk were so hilarious, kind accommodating and gave us a lot of really helpful information! I would definitely recommend that anybody who is entering Texas from Arkansas check out this place. they have a lot of cool merchandise for free and information and can just make your experience in Texas a better time!

Clean restroom, excellent place for relaxing minutes. Visitor center is small library level, with maps and information.

Very informative travel welcome center. Helpful staff. Can't miss the only federal building built straddling a state line.

Nice facility and large area well kept to stretch your legs for a much needed break during your travels. The restrooms are clean and plenty of them.
