Probably wouldn't be your first choice but don't let its size deter you. This hilly campus offers many outlets and I had always found it comforting during my study hours slaving away in the Library. During my physical training, their moderately sized and effective wellness center had everything I needed to keep busy. All equipment was maintained well and I always thought of it as a very clean facility. Then it was always nice on the frequent occasion to grab a bite in the cafeteria. Food was filling, convenient and warm. Finally, Loras has plenty of areas to stimulate your creativity. The Visitation (RIP) is not only a living quarters for some but also a music and fine art location. Hoffman contains an impressive amount of video and audio equipment with a state of the art lab that can accommodate all of your editing needs. Wonderful school and I would highly recommend.

In one word "growth." if you are looking for a school that has been designed to make sure you grow, from top to bottom, this is it. In no other school will you be challenged to expand, learn, appreciate, express curiosity, fail, fail, and fail again, than at Loras College. This is what makes the experience so amazing. You'll be well served should you attend. And well served should you decide to stop by campus and visit - it's gorgeous!

I spent four great years here. The school has gone on to become even more well known for its academic excellence. None of my friends or family have gone to a school with a better rating and that includes some really BIG name universities. You should seriously consider making Loras your school of choice.

I attended Loras College, St. Pius X Seminary, for one semester in the Fall of 1961. Then went to St. Mary’s College Seminary in Ky. I have fond memories of Loras! It is a beautiful campus. Would love to visit . I’m living in New Hampshire. Graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 1982. Spent +- 30 years in Law Enforcement. Now 78.

Great education, caring instructors, small class sizes. As a 2009 graduate, I enjoyed my time at Loras and recommend any student interested in the medical field to check out their Science department!
