👍👍 I've always enjoy the vibe here, I believe my first guitar purchase at Lavonnes was over 30 years ago in my late teens. They know their business, are friendly, always ready with some fun banter while you look around under no pressure. Amazing collection of guitars, basses, amplifiers and much more. People often mention guitar,

It's hard to find mom-and-pop shops these days with helpful people but Lavonne Music is one of them. They answer the phone, and have answers or will try to find them. Pete and co. know their stuff and will kindly take the time to help. Most of the time they will have what you need, I'm always amazed when I call up thinking there's no way they will have some particular item in that small shop, but lo and behold they will usually dig it up, and prices are the same as what you'll see online or in the chain stores. The only complaint I've seen about this shop is that at certain times they are so busy helping folks and chatting with their customers that you may have to wait a few minutes to get their undivided attention -this is true - and a good sign- it means they are popular and have a loyal following for a reason. I'll happily wait.

Best store in this state in my opinion, I go here for everything guitar related, pretty sure they all know me by name at this point. Hopefully I'll be taking home that white Gibson Explorer some day

I am so glad I found this store not so far from where we live. Both times I’ve been there the staff was the kindest and worked on my son’s guitar above and beyond from what I paid them. They will continue to have my business for years to come!

We're so happy to found this store, the staff was so nice and helpful. We bought a electric acoustic guitar for my son.

Purchased a Vintage Gibson from this Music Store and had a wonderful experience. I live in a completely different State and took a chance on buying a vintage guitar from LaVonne Music and I'm glad I did. Mr.Pete and Rachel were both easy to work with, very helpful, and also very professional. I highly recommend Lavonne Music Store to anyone looking for great music equipment and great service. I would certainly do business with them again! Thank you. D.

Bought a brand new Larrivee acoustic from them at the beginning of summer. Staff is great and and friendly. Great purchasing experience. This was my second purchase from them. I bought a used amplifier from them a year ago with the same great experience. LaVonne Music is a stand up business. Do not hesitate to make the drive there.

Ahhh Pete, the legend. Mom and pop shops have been in decline over the past few decades. If there was ever a 'best', he's got it cornered. It's not about the sales, it's about the experience at a shop like his that holds onto Americana at its finest. Plus he sold Prince his first Honor guitar at the old shop in Burnsville. Not to mention guitars to the Rolling Stones and other high caliber rockers. Living music history has never been more sincere than his stories and experiences...
