July 14, 2023: Incredible experience Captain Glen and Gina were AMAZING! Great value for $65/pp and then after the tour we were emailed a link and it was $35 for all the photos and videos (60+ photos and 3 videos) that they took on a go pro. The water was refreshing and lovely. It was my daughter’s first time snorkeling and they took their time with making sure she felt comfortable and safe. Great experience all around. Meeting Triangle was the highlight of our trip and we also went to Disney world lol. September 14, 2023: Just wanted to add that I have now booked a second trip for December with my in-laws from England to go meet the manatees! Can't wait to be back!

We had a great snorkel excursion with the manatees and even saw 2 dolphins! The guide and boat captain were very knowledgeable and personable on our tour. We saw 3 manatees and 2 dolphins! It was mid-July when there aren’t as many manatees and we got out before any of the other tours and had the best viewing of all the other boats. We also swam in the springs. It was excellent!!

Thank you Kayla and Michael for a great morning with the manatees. We had a blast, being the first onsite allowed for a peaceful stroll in the springs seeing many manatees. Really recommend the place, very friendly, knowledgeable and quality service Also, you should really be brave and consider the 6:00AM tour. This one allows for a beautiful sunrise and gives you the opportunity to be first in the water.

We have never had a more amazing experience. From start to finish everyone was so helpful. They were great helping us get the wet suits on, made sure we were comfortable in the water. Explained everything so well. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Then to top it off captain Kip and Kay were funny and so friendly. Kay was taking video and photos of our experiences and you could purchase them after. So reasonablely priced and just loved them!!! The sunrise was amazing on the way out. So much interaction with the manatees ..they kept coming up to us to check us out.

Amazing trip! Capt Kip and Anna were the best! 6 am trip and we basically had the whole area to ourselves. Water isn’t clear as it usually is due to the last hurricane but it didn’t ruin any fun. Lots of Manatees that came right up to us. 100% book with Birds and you won’t be disappointed! Thank you again!!

Our guide and captain were so amazing and knowledgeable about the natural springs and manatees. We were able to see so many manatees in their natural habitat respectively. We will definitely be back to Bird’s Underwater Manatee Dive Center. They provided the wet suits and snorkel masks. The boat was easily accessible and comfortable. We had so much fun.

We just had the most incredible experience with Birds Underwater! My husband took me on the 6am manatee tour for my birthday and we had Anna as our fantastic in water guide. She got a ton of great pictures of us including a video of one of the manatees showing me LOTS of love🤣🤣🤣. They really care about your comfort here and go the extra mile with donuts, coffee, and even a curtained off changing area on the boat. They were all genuinely nice people that clearly love what they do, and you can tell they enjoy sharing it with others. We are already planning a return trip. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Anna you got some fantastic pictures of us! This was an unforgettable adventure, and we won’t be using anyone else from now on, you guys definitely won over our business today.

We have been coming to swim with the manatees for MANY years. We have used several different tour companies and Bird’s Underwater is top notch. They keep their equipment in good condition and the enclosed boats were MUCH appreciated as it was 34 degrees and a little breezy. The crew was very knowledgeable and you can tell that they really enjoy what they do. They were excellent with our large group of kids. Highly recommended!

I had an incredible experience swimming with the manatees at Birds Underwater Manatee Dive Center with captains Zack and Riley. The expertise and guidance they provided made the adventure truly unforgettable. The majestic creatures, combined with the professionalism of the captains, created a perfect outing. I would 100% recommend taking the tour with them

What an amazing experience! 100% recommend Birds Underwater! We were taken to Banana Island, where they estimated to be about 200 manatees. And they weren’t wrong. There were so many! I got to see a few babies with their mama and one even nursing, just an arms length away. Not to mention the fish we got to see! The staff were great and the storefront had a lot to offer! Our Captains were knowledgeable and hospitable! Cant wait to come back!

Our trip with Mike & Gina was amazing! So many manatees and they made sure that we saw and interacted with as many as we could. We had an amazing time both in and out of the water. Gina & Mike made sure we were very comfortable at all times. The areas with the manatees can get very crowded with other swimmers/kayakers and Gina did an amazing job keeping us together and giving us the best opportunity to spend time with the manatees. We took the 6am tour so we were the first ones out and that really gives you a chance to have more time & space to enjoy the experience cause it fills up quick. Mike spotted the best places for us to get close to the manatees. Great photos, warm drinks and donuts! Whether it is your first time with the manatees or you've been out before I would highly recommend going out with Bird's. They clearly love the manatees & the area and treat their customers very well. Thank you Bird's for an unforgettable one of a kind experience!

Anna was a great guide, and Mike was also an excellent helmsman & knowledgeable on local birds and fish. Everyone on staff was wonderful, and seeing the manatees up close was very special, and especially exciting for my daughter. Anna was especially patient and good with my 5-year old son. I would love to come again with my family, as soon as we can!

We really enjoyed our tour today! Saw at least 5 manatees close up...our guides, especially Anna, were very respectful of the manatees, and the company makes sure that they teach the correct way to observe the manatees without disturbing them in their natural habitat, which I think is super important. I would definitely recommend this tour company! Additional helpful feedback for the company would be to have a couple.of picture 📸 props like I saw at another company...with a mural ( they had one of a large manatee and a wooden ruler that you stand next to to take pictures and it shows how big the manatee is compared to a person) which was really cool...

We did the Manatee snorkeling Tour at 11 am and it was awesome. We had more than enough time to snorkle with these gentle giants. One was very touchy and wanted plenty of belly rubs, an unbelievable experience. Our guide Anna was very friendly and took some photos and videos we could have bought later. But it was also totally welcome to take your own pictures and videos. After the trip we got some hot chocolate to warm up.

We had a fantastic manatee swim with Bird's a couple weeks ago, highly recommend! Definitely worth going out for the 6am tour--beautiful sunrise and great to have the bay to ourselves. There were 9 people on our Wed morning tour and it was a nice group. We saw 2 or 3 dozen manatees and were surprised by how close to use they got. Both guides did an amazing job and were very kind! They got great photos, also definitely worth the extra $35 for the memory.

I’m a three-time return customer to Birds and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. The staff are tremendously friendly and they know their way around the water and manatees. Captain Kip and our guide, Zack, were a dynamic duo and made the trip that much more enjoyable. I encountered two snuggly baby manatees that made the trip unforgettable. If I could visit Birds weekly, I would! Great value, great staff, great time!
