“The Play that goes Wrong” was soooo good!! Loved the Hickory Community Theatre! Very personal place. I can’t wait to go back to see another play!

Just watched the cast do Kinky Boots. It was excellent. Everyone sounded great, very entertaining. Please come out and support your local theater and the cast. You will not be disappointed!

Incredible performances by an incredible cast. From the front entrance to the box office to concessions to being ushered to our seats nothing but complete professionalism and excitement that we enjoy the performance. Can't wait to see the next show.

This place constitutes an actual gem. I go to more theater productions than the average person, but I promise you no one is as consistent (including Charlotte-based productions) as Hickory Community Theatre. The location is great, the orchestra kills it, sound is better than most, plus the actors and singers are incredible. You get the feeling everyone here actually cares about the end result. If it’s a little bit extra drive for you, I promise it will be worth it!!

I saw Anastasia it was Amazing the Cast was so Amazing and Talented. It was Broadway Worthy. Don’t miss out on this Great Production. The Ensemble and Crew Did a Great Performance as Well. Bravo Commarades.

Old-fashioned traditional theatre with lots of charm. Comfortable and cosy, we loved the play and the acting, too.

Seeing plays here for years. The main theater up is just the right size that you feel part of the production. The small theater space down is so cozy you are actually almost touching the actors. So enjoy this place and the plays.

I've seen some plays and participated in some productions at Hickory Community Theatre. You can go to a cineplex and watch a movie. But nothing is quite as visceral as seeing something in live action. All of the actors are 100% volunteers. They do it out of love for the theatre!
