How should I start? It is our happy place! No matter how hard the day went you can count on them for an hour of fun and physical and mental challenges in the dance studio. Everyone from the owners to the amazing staff, and your fellow dance students, makes you feel like family from day 1. After a little time you want to participate in competitions and events and they are also very well organized. I recommend this place specially for couples looking for an activity together. Its a blast!

One of the very few ballroom studios on Long Island and it teaches children, too! My 6y.o. daughter fell in love with ballroom and is enjoying every single class. Vika is such an amazing teacher; she is so patient and great with kids.

I went her for father daughter dance lessons for my wedding. My father and I had no experience but the instructors were extremely patient with us while they walked us through all the steps. They guided us when our steps were wrong and we were laughing the whole time. We loved the whole experience. It was great spending time with my father and we can’t wait to show off our moves! I will never forget this dance with my dad. I appreciate everything the Fred Astaire team did for us! Highly recommend to anyone!

The whole team played a big part in helping me and my mom prepare our mother son dance for my wedding and we had a great time the whole way. The instructors (particularly Kevin and Bryan) were patient with their teaching and were very flexible with scheduling both separately and together for me and my mom. They did a great job choreographing as well and suggesting music as well! Would highly recommend!

I started dancing at Fred Astaire in Garden city about two months ago with my daughter. We are having such a blast and learning so much about ballroom dancing. I highly recommend giving yourself this gift. Eugene and Bryan are so talented and helpful. all the instructors dance with you at their weekly Friday night party, which is not only fun, but a great learning experience! so enjoy and dance like no one’s watching.

I have danced most of my life and when the decision was to go to a professional dancer to choreograph my wedding, I made no hesitation to choose this place. I cannot tell you the warmth every single person in this studio gives. We were immediately greeted with so much love the first time we came and have never regretted any day coming here to practice. We have an incredible teacher, Vika. Highly highly recommend to anyone. For all who want a boost of energy and be surrounded by incredible company in all the group social events

Great dance studio! Victoria is the best instructor! We did group lessons and I even send my almost 5 yo daughter for the kids classes she teaches! She is so great ! She also does private lessons so definitely go ahead and book a tryout class with her. She is from Ukrainian and speaks fluent both Russian and Ukrainian as well.
