I had surgery about seven and a half months ago and Dr. Eric Gourley, and his staff was very attentive. I love how they took care of me. I have loss about 75 pounds. so far. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Gourley. When I made the decision to have bariatric surgery I had no idea what to expect. From the first appointment to now I’ve known exactly what I need to do because of him. Dr. Gourley is a true professional, motivator and a caring doctor. I was at Fort Hood from 2011 to 2013. Dr. Gourley was there from 2004 to 2018. Even though I didn’t know him there I probably saluted him several times. I would salute him now because of the respect I have for him. This is a new life he gave me. I have so much more energy and feel so much better about myself. Praise is one thing but results are where it counts. I started this journey earlier this year at 346 lbs. Pre-op was 333 and day of surgery was 317. I’m now down to 236. Do the math. The best part is Dr. Gourley was there the whole time. He and his staff are the best. Call them and set up an appointment. It will change your life and you can stay on this planet longer and healthier. 1

I'm 1 week away from my year anniversary of my surgery. I'm so glad I had it done. I'm not to my goal weight YET but I know I WILL get there. The morning of my surgery my SURGEON called me because he understood I had questions. He wanted to make sure that I was really sure this is what I wanted. Who does that?? I still have work to do but I'm seeing results. The surgery isn't a magic pill but if you are willing to do the work this is the place to go.
