My daughter plays the violin and Anna is her instructor who I highly recommend 👌 She is super sweet and makes her feel comfortable.

Rhum Academy has been a wonderful place for me and my family. As an adult musician, I know our music students need safe places to make mistakes and grow. The American Idol model of "having to be perfect the first time" is hurting the next generation of musicians and singers - Rhum Academy directly fights that. During their monthly student nights, even on their worst night, students receive unanimous applause and compliments, not downvotes or scowls. It's a safe place to learn and grow and worth every penny.

I have been a student at Rhum Academy for almost nine years. All of the teachers are extremely knowledgeable about music, as well as music theory, composition, and performance. Everyone at the academy is very personable, and the quality of the instruments is astounding!! Rhum has given me experiences unlike any other when it comes to performing and improving as a musician!!

I've known Gary for years and he is the best music teacher I've ever been around. His passion for music and people are unmatched and is also contagious. I would recommend Rhum's Academy of Music to anyone. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned artist/musician, you will grow.

My grandson has recently started taking piano classes here. He is autistic and has a natural ability to play by ear. I was concerned that introducing him to lessons could perhaps confuse him and damage his natural ability. Upon meeting and speaking with his instructor, Mr. Tim, my concerns were quickly forgotten. He loves going to piano lessons and Mr. Tim is very patient and concerned about his comfortability level yet still challenging him. Unfortunately my grandson doesn't live in Kokomo so his lessons will be stopping at the end of summer. He's already looking forward to continuing next summer and hopefully we'll be able to find a local instructor in the meantime. Our community is very fortunate to have this caliber of instructors and Rhum Academy of Music.

Absolutely love working with everyone at Rhum! From the owners, to the instructors to the students & parents-it has just been a great experience for our whole family. You can easily see the care & commitment from the instructors during Student Night. Just watching how the entire Rhum team interacts with the students shows you their passion and commitment to the musical arts!

Our family has attended here for more than a year, getting to appreciate multiple teachers in several disciplines, art and music both. All staff have been professional, understanding, progressive, and open to changing schedules for our convenience (semester class changes). Friendly, encouraging, and challenging; excellent positive encouragement. The shop with handmade artist creations in the lobby are great for gifts and eclectic-ly interesting visually. Stop in.
