I still talk about the dish I had even after a couple months. Really amazing experience in here. You get a welcome champagne drink, and it’s the First place I had ‘old fashion’ liqueur. The chicken was so soft with great veggies. Can’t really remember the name but maybe the picture could help anyone hoping to have the same. Also had one of the best dumplings here.

Very delicious food that is well presented with good plating. The variety is interesting with a good mix of popular dishes from around the world. The staff is knowledgeable and makes good recommendations. And of course the steaks are out of this world. The venue is very open, expansive, with a modern design. I've been here a few times. And there's a reason for it that I come back every time I visit Houston.

I was excited to visit Joey and it did not disappoint. The food was delicious and fresh, meat cooked to perfection to the specific term requested. My waitress was super sweet and she gave us great recommendations. I tried the passion fruit spicy margarita and it was really good. For food We had the steak and ravioli, steak and sushi and Joey steak and everything was amazing! Portions were okay however, more on the smaller side. Service was great from our waitress however, the host needs to be trained to be more welcoming, she has no costumer service skills. She barely said anything, directed me to the wrong table her body language expressed almost as if she hated to be working there. We were also not offered the complimentary champagne which was advertised to me when I made reservations.

I had an early Sunday dinner at Joey's Uptown. I chose to park in the Galleria self-parking instead of using their valet service due to a previous bad experience with valet parking. Upon arrival, the hostess greeted me and offered complementary champagne while waiting to be seated. The restaurant's interior is quite dark, but the modern decor is impressive. Popular music played in the background, and all servers were dressed uniformly in black, giving a clean appearance. Although it doesn't seem very kid-friendly, there were many children present during my visit. I had a hearty appetite and aimed for the best experience by ordering a starter, entrée, and possible dessert. I started with truffle fries topped with freshly shaved Parmesan and served with ketchup and garlic aioli, which were delicious. The crabcake had a nice crust and was accompanied by a refreshing radish salad. My friend ordered guacamole and seared salmon sushi, both of which were excellent. The sushi plate lacked wasabi, which we found unusual, but we didn't inquire further. Our waiter was informative and answered questions about other diners' dishes. Unfortunately, his recommendation of ravioli with shrimp didn't suit my taste, as it was too tangy. I substituted chicken instead. The garlic bread on the side, however, was amazing – fluffy and flavorful. My friend enjoyed her steak and ravioli, minus the shrimp, although the ravioli were a bit too al dente for my liking. The music was at the right volume – audible but not overpowering, allowing for pleasant conversation. We opted for dessert, choosing the crème brûlée cheesecake, which was not only delicious but also came with a special "Happy New Year" message as we visited on New Year's Day. The prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of food we received, and we left feeling satisfied and would consider returning.

Everything was wonderful. Our attendant Hanna was on it. When we ordered the drinks they came right out. No long wait. We were greeted with complimentary champagne 🍾 nice touch. I had the ravioli and steak 10/10. My friend had the crab cake 10/10 and sissy had chicken parmassean. It was enough for 2.

Vibe- This is a very nice up scale restaurant right by the Galleria. They have a nice bar with plenty of seats, plenty of tables inside, and there’s a covered patio kind of area with even more seats!! They have happy Monday thru Friday from 3-6pm. This is a nice date night spot for sure :) Customer service- Great!!! Food/drinks- I got a strawberry passion fruit drop and the crispy tofu bowl (vegetarian option) to eat; everything was delicious!! Parking- I parked in the garage near the restaurant and walked over.

Our first time here and we loved it. Service was great, and our server Winston was very welcoming and went above and beyond with making our time here enjoyable for my boyfriends birthday. Would come back, food was so good! Atmosphere was calm and aesthetically pleasing.

Beautiful! GREAT FOOD! GREAT SERVICE! GREAT ATMOSPHERE! friends gathering and dinner at this restaurant, everything was PERFECT! when entering, I met with great customer service and a glass of champagne. Was seated promptly upon our arrival (with reservations).. we tried almost all the appetizers, my favorite being the crab cakes. Dinner options were plenty.. the apple pie dessert was phenomenal!

Great experience, food, atmosphere and service! David was absolutely amazing! He was attentive and friendly. We got the Spicy Strawberry Margarita (minus the spicy), Peach Bourbon Tea, Hibachi Wings, Steak & Ravioli Bianco, and the JOEY Classic Steak. Everything was delicious and came out quickly! Would visit again!

Went on Saturday, without reservations, for two and the wait was not bad; a little less than 40 min. They were serving free glasses of champagne at the host stand, but the waiting area was a bit cramped right in front. However, right behind the host stand were seats that no one seemed to notice so we sat down on the couches with ease. Tried the steak and ravioli; guacamole; cauliflower wings; parmesean fries between two people. Because the potions were small we ended up getting another ravioli and steak. One non-alcoholic drink they had was too expensive to be so small.... I would increase the size, for sure or not spend money on it again, even though it was good. The waitress was extremely attentive and nice! Great atmosphere and meal, would go again!

Do yourself a favor and get here NOWWWWWW! What an AMAZING first time experience here at Joey Uptown! My husband brought me here on the 13th to celebrate my 47th birthday and the service was impeccable! From the overall ambiance, and location, and let’s not begin to talk about the food. We were greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne and within minutes were taken to our seats. This place has a lot of greenery which I love and what makes it unique for me is the different themes or vibe I would say in each area. There’s also a covered outdoor patio area with nice views as well. For starters, we had the jumbo lump crab cake along with the hibachi wings. And I’m not a wing person but the Parmesan dip did it for me. And the apple fennel salad alongside the crab cake gave it that extra flavorful kick. Our main dishes for the night were the Mediterranean bowl and the Cajun blackened chicken, a nice portion chicken breast topped with bacon bits, mashed potatoes, and creamy coleslaw on the side, a recipe for success! I typically go for dark meat as all of my experience in the past with white meat has not gone well but this was so moist and flavorful my taste buds were jumping for joy screaming and wanting more! And to top things off my waiter Will sung happy birthday to me upon request making the night even more special. Thank you Joey Uptown for such a first class and upscale experience and for making my birthday one I’ll always remember. I can’t wait to return.
