I will do my best to summarize my experience at 1133. I have lived at 1133 since the building opened in March 2015. Here are some bullet point describing why 1133 is one of the best places to live in NYC. 1. Building is located in the best part of Greenpoint, quiet, no through traffic, bunch of restaurants and bars A+, and it's only starting to grow. (Green point beer and ale coming soon :) 1130 Manhattan ave) 2. Building has amazing amenities - GYM, indoor PARKING garage !!! (affordable monthly rates), Courtyard with BBQ grills, Business Center, Rooftop with killer views, bike storage, Zip Car in the garage, Laundry in some units and on every floor, building is kept super clean, Pet Spa to wash your dog, Storage space in the basement and more little things. 3. What really makes 1133 a great location is proximity to the ferry system, if you work downtown you can hop on the citi bike get to the ferry in less then 10 minutes and enjoy uncrowded boat ride while sitting and sipping on coffee. Nothing can beat that commute, nothing. 4. Having parking garage right in the building is the most convenient living in Brooklyn or Manhattan ever. This parking is operated by your personal building proximity card, no valet parking or other hustle. 5. Building Management team, maintenance and staff are amazing, anything you need will be addressed. Special thanks for all their hard work goes to Sammy, Marvin, Dimani, Robert, Johnny, K, Fernando, and Tony. I'm sure I'm missing some names, everyone working at 1133 is great. 6. Building's management pays for weekly Yoga classes with an amazing teacher at the building for residents, organizes parties such as super bowl, 4th of July and many more. Food and drinks are always complementary. Let me address the shelter situation: On Clay street right across my window there is a halfway house, for all types of people who need help in their lives. There are always a few people that will roll through the system that will be loud or get into a verbal fight with their wifes or girlfriends. it happens. However next block there is one idiot who plays drums in his fancy penthouse in the spring and summer time, he is so obnoxious that he beats all of the shelter people by 10 fold. This is Brooklyn, if you are looking for a quite tranquil place at all times, you might need to commute from Hudson Valley everyday. All and all neighborhood is safe. Look at crime data, nothing out of ordinary for Brooklyn and Manhattan in general. Oh one more thing, building is structurally sounds, I never hear any of my neighbors, water is always hot right away. Little things that make living here great. Just moved here and we are less than pleased. For the premium price of rent they charge the overall quality is poor. We also didn’t realize during the tour that there are so many families with loud kids, and it’s a very noisy building overall. Definitely moving when our lease ends!

My family and I have been living at 1133 for about 7 years and I will say it’s been nothing but amazing, the staff are top notch. Shout out to Sammy ,Marvin , Fernando, Rob , Manny , and Carlos are exceptional workers. Before and even during the pandemic the whole 1133 team never skip a beat on making sure that the building was running smoothly and most importantly they keep the common areas well maintained. Anytime you see anyone of them, they are always friendly and helpful. It’s always nice catching up with them.

Can’t say enough good things about 1133. Everything is always clean and very well maintained. The staff couldn’t be any nicer or accommodating. Every morning/night I’m greeted with a welcoming hello. They host numerous events throughout the year to engage there residents. Security here is also top notch. Keep up the good work guys. I wish all management companies were as good as you guys.

Been here for 5 years now and absolutely love it. The building itself has excellent, well maintained amenities (especially the courtyard and gym) and a convenient location. Unlike a lot of modern "luxury" buildings, they seem to have taken a lot of care in the construction. Floor plans are well thought out and walls are thick enough that I have basically never heard noise from neighbors (there is some courtyard noise if the unit happens to face it when the kids are out playing but it's generally not bad and limited to daytime hours). Finally, I have to mention the best part of living at Eleven33: the staff. The whole team is friendly and always helpful, consistently going above and beyond. They make the building feel like a community and never fail to brighten your day. Shout outs to: Jason, Marvin, Robert, and Sammy at the front desk. Carlos, Manny, Kafurcy, and Fernando (and Sammy again doing double duty) with maintenance. Tony, Hannah, and Johnny with management. Couldn't recommend living here more!

The staff here is the BEST! We have lived here for 7 years, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the amazing people who make this building a home- Robert and Marvin have been here since the beginning- and they make a great concierge team- along with Jason. They feel like family at this point! I also want to shout out Sammy for always being such a help. Carlos, Fernando, and Kafurcy do so much to keep the building running smoothly. And Manny can fix anything in our apartment! Also- every single staff member is so kind and generous with our kids- our kids absolutely adore all of them! Thank you 1133 Staff- we appreciate you!

I love my building! Before I even moved in the staff went out of their way to help me out. Sammy even showed the apartment to my friend while I was on FaceTime because I had moved to Florida during the pandemic. Right then I knew it was going to be a great place to live!! The building is clean and beautifully maintained. What amazes me is how all the guys at the front desk know the residents names and pet names too. They’re cheery and funny and always down to help out. Definitely the hardest working people around. I appreciate you!!

My family moved in on day 1 in 2015 back when the building was brand new. 7 years later and nothing has changed thanks to the amazing crew maintaining this whole place like champions! I hear a lot of new buildings falling apart in the neighborhood and beyond, but we’re standing strong and our community is bonded, solid and very happy to live at 1133 also thanks to our amazing concierge team and management! I’d love to thank our crew individually on this post, but I make sure to do it in person, as often as possible. Love you guys!

1133 was our first home when we moved to NYC shortly before the pandemic and it was truly the best place to live. The staff are the very best and they make everything so much better. The maintenance was excellent, everything was attended to promptly, with no difficulties. Truly one of the best places to live and the best part of our New York story! We unfortunately had to move because we needed more space, but would have certainly stayed if it was an option!
