Horrible experience from start to finish. Employees Damon and Nicole treated me and my girlfriend like we couldn’t afford anything in their store. I went to this store to purchase a bag I could use at the gym and to look through this locally owned establishment I’d never been to before. I was greeted with can we help you find anything and again 3 more times in a 15 minute period. I wasn’t allowed to walk through the store with the merchandise I was going to purchase, and even when I paid cash for my bag I wasn’t handed my merchandise until my girlfriend was finished with her transaction. It’s sad to see ignorance in such a degree in 2023.

I recently got some work shoes from here and they are absolutely amazing. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable of shoes and shoe tying techniques. I didn't even know there were different ways to tie shoes and lace them. Anyways the staff really tries to get you the right fit for your feet! There are very few places that will go that far. Although the shoes maybe a little pricey, but they are honestly worth every penny. Good shoes are one thing you really shouldn't skimp on.

I'm not one to write reviews, but 42 Degrees North deserves one. I simply would not buy shoes anywhere else. Their customer service is above and beyond what I ever could have expected. They know who I am when I walk in the store, and remember what I like. The staff is extremely knowledgable and great at making recommendations to help find the perfect product to fit your needs. They stand behind what they sell. When the tread started coming off my Altras three months after purchase, they replaced them, even though it was well beyond their 30 day return period. That's just another perk; they want you to love what you buy and give you 30 days to use it to make sure you do. Hands down, 42 Degrees North is the best outdoor gear store around. If you haven't checked them out, you don't know what you are missing.

Having to buy a jacket in the "off season" for a trip to Alaska. I knew there would be limited choice, but 42 North had just what I needed.

I can't say enough good about this store and the people that work there. Labin went above and beyond helping me find a new trail running shoe. They are personable and their costumer service is A+!! Wonderful

Nice low key place. They have solid brands Mountain Hardware, Salomon, Prana, MSR, La Sportiva, Dakine, Smith Optics. All the good stuff.
