I traveled to Jackson, WY on a motorcycle trip and couldn’t stand not having a camera. Isaac at the Jackson store was awesome! Very patient as I took over an hour deciding. He got out just about every lens they had and a few cameras, also very knowledgeable as well as an amazing photographer! Very happy with overall experience and choice of camera. Without question THE Wyoming photo institution, Wyoming Camera Outfitters has it all going on, especially now that they also have a store in Jackson, right in the heart of National Park country. Dinty and Chris and Travis (up in Jackson) love what they do, and it shows at every level of the customer experience. The stores by nature have to be selective about their product but they know what people are looking for so top brands are all they carry. Canon, Tamron Lenses, Sony, Peak Design, the Thinktank/Mindshift system, Breakthrough Photography's filters, 3 Legged Thing... They know what's up. If you're in Casper or find yourself in Jackson, stop in and say hello. They'll make you some coffee and see about having you stay awhile. If you happen to purchase something, well, that was inevitable :)

I wandered in here somewhat on a whim, as I had some questions about the best way to document an upcoming backcountry trip and thought maybe I could ask a couple questions about cameras and go on my merry way. I was blown away by the unbelievable kindness and time extended to answer my inquiries. The owner went above and beyond in every capacity and offered solutions I hadn't even thought of and no part of the experience ever felt pushy or sales-driven. He was just genuinely passionate about cameras and photography and helping me sort out what exactly I wanted to accomplish and the best tools to do so. Very grateful. Highly recommend.

At the last minute before I was going on a trip, these guys went out of their way to dig through all of their stuff (in the front and back of the store) in order to find a battery charger for my camera that had been misplaced! They have also always been great about answering questions and giving advice. Thank you Wyoming Camera Outfitters!

Called because I needed a camera battery charger while on a trip and they were the only camera shop anywhere near where I was going. The guy said that he didn't have a new one, but he would give me (I assume that meant sell) the charger that they use in the shop. I told them that I would be in before closing to pick it up. I rearranged my trip schedule, and drove 100 miles out of my way. When I got there, I was told that they get a lot of "tourists" and they must have already sold it. That's some great customer service.

This place is awesome! Going into camera shops can be daunting sometimes where I feel that I need to know exactly what I’m looking for and if not, I’m a burden to their shop. Wyoming Camera Outfitters is the best and most friendly camera shop I’ve ever been to. Down to earth and friendly, they were just awesome. They welcomed questions, let me test products, and never pressured me for time or money. Casper, y’all have the best camera shop around the region. I’ve been to shops from Phoenix, Denver, ABQ, and Las Vegas, and Wyoming Camera Outfitters wins by far. And all I was doing was renting a lens four a day.

Was passing through town and Went into this store to check out camera Lens. I was extremely pleased. The store is well stocked and great knowledgeable people to work with. They answered all my questions and helped me purchase a lens. They followed up to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I highly recommend this business and I will definitely go to them with all my camera needs.
