Happened upon this jewel of a park and stopped off for a walk. It has an absolutely beautiful soft on your feet wide path that even has places to rest with benches and decks by the river! The play equipment is heavy duty and imaginative and some are along back side of trail. Also the main playground area has covered seating areas for the children's supervisors! Wonderful clean restrooms and a beautiful covered picnic area....just an awsome well thought out park for Adults and children alike!!!

Great little park. More suited for younger kids as my 10 yr old was bored. Outhouses available during the summer ... nice little hike in the woods. Only downside is the sand parking lot. Overall a pleasant, off the beaten path, park. :)

We love this place! Tucked away and hardly ever busy. The trails are soft even for baby feet! It's the most peaceful park around Indy! The playground equipment is clean and modern. There's even a little zip line for kids! If I lived closer we would go daily!

I was very excited to check out this park after seeing that it was redone. I had never been to the park before so I can’t compare it to how it was before but my 2yo loved it. The lights/sounds game (neos) was the main thing my 2yo enjoyed. And it was really fun to see it being used to bring many kids together to play. I liked that the playground areas were spaced out along the walking path. I can see that being helpful on days when there are a lot of people at the park so that kids have a chance to visit different spots to play. The zip line was great! One of the triangle-shaped swings was broken/damaged the day we went so hopefully that gets taken care of quickly. Overall we really enjoyed this park and I can’t wait to go back.

What a wonderful park! Nice wide trails through a mostly shady wooded area. The trail is not too long or too short. It winds away from the play area for awhile which is nice for an old lady. And the trails are such nice soft material. Several overlooks of the river with benches to rest my feet. Sturdy interesting play equipment. My grandkids love the zip line. Nice restrooms. I will be walking my dog here a lot!

The most surprising thing at this park are the rippled hills behind the playground. So fun to run up and down! Great park for my one year old, nothing too dangerous and he was so excited to try all the slides and climbing things. Sandbox was a bit icky, needs to be raked.... And it's generally a little older and worn... But we had a nice day at the park!

We like coming to this park because it’s usually not very crowded and the playground is great for the kids to play. We also like how the playground doesn’t have anything too high to climb yet ample space to run around. The green space is great too and the hills make it fun for the kids to run up and down. We haven’t been on any of the trails, but they look interesting since it’s right near the river I’m sure the would be some great views.
