I am so grateful my daughter went to Care Net when she got pregnant. She was scared, and the staff were so warm and kind to her, that she was put at ease immediately. She was given such encouraging advise, that it changed her whole outlook, and she delivered a beautiful, healthy little girl several months later, that is the Jewel of our family. They have followed up with her, and donated baby formula, clothing, diapers, furniture, and tons of encouragement. They were not just dropped from the minds of those at Care Net after the delivery. The baby is six months old, and the support continues. Thank you all at Care Net! Donna Wilkinson and family

CareNet has been such a blessing. I came here scared, down, and confused and received weekly support, prayers, and lots of resources and lessons. I feel so equipped now and I'm looking forward to my life with my new family. There is a lot of hope and support here. I would encourage anyone who is pregnant and not sure what to do, to give CareNet a try. Shout out to Eileen. Thank you for all your positivity, joy, light, and care. ❤️

I had an awesome safe private experience. I felt very comfortable and everything that I said and did was in privacy. Hakie and Grace were very professional caring and welcoming. I enjoyed my experience and would recommend them to friends and family. Keep up the great work, you guys are appreciated and I'm thankful for to help I was given

Care net has a great way for you to learn about what’s most important for your baby. They offer parenting classes which I’m glad I found. They are so sweet very welcoming, I highly recommend!

I went to care net for support and early ultrasound to confirm pregnancy. Although this pregnancy wasn’t planned I wanted to get in an early ultrasound to ensure everything was okay, especially due to experiencing bleeding that I didn’t with my first. I had no idea when my last period was so figuring out how far along I was a huge question mark. Julie was my intake and felt that she was friendly but out of touch on the very real and well documented challenges within healthcare specifically for black women. I mentioned my fears of labor and complications as a black women due to increase chances of mortality .She had no idea. When it came to providing supportive churches my race was brought up as it was mentioned the suggestions were not predominately black. Race/ethnicity is not what I look for when seeking support so was taken back when it was brought up when providing churches. During the ultra sound pregnancy could not be confirmed due to empty sac. I was given information on support and information on what to look out for a miscarriage. Which was my fear due to my bleeding. I was told that I could schedule a repeat in 2wks to see if anything changed. I informed them that I will follow up as I did have a follow up with my OB who started monitoring my HGC level due to spotting and not Knowing my last period. Julie sent a follow up email to see if I wanted to schedule an additional appointment, and sent pleasantries. I responded 2days later and notified her of my miscarriage. I received no further communication. Which I could have used and expected during this time. I did not have a positive experience and would be reluctant to recommend to a POC. I highly suggest DEI training. *Edit my post and rating: director reached out and left a genuine voicemail and followed up in text with supportive information and resources

I was looking for resources during my pregnancy and stumbled across this organization randomly.. I had initially thought I would be attending parenting/birth classes as this was my first child, and when I got there not only did they offer birth classes in a one on one setting which was great, they also offered free baby items. Clothes diapers blankets toys cribs or bassinet. I was even was able to get a few breastfeeding items. The classes are 1on1 so you don’t have to worry about being nervous or uncomfortable in a class setting.. the videos are informative and relatable. The staff are all warm and welcoming .. especially Kris. I worked with her and she was amazing . Always welcomed me with a smile and made me feel comfortable and confident to openly talk about whatever I was dealing with . Communication was key oh and I was also able to watch videos at home too. That was a plus. so for any pregnant women out there looking for help this is definitely a great place for it. And I’m thankful for everything they provided.
