4/5 Ava B. 9 months ago on Google
I
was
at
Erc
for
23
weeks.
13
in
res
and
10
in
php.
My
experience
wasn’t
exactly
typical
and
reading
all
the
poor
reviews
I
absolutely
see
where
they
are
coming
from.
However
I
overall
had
a
positive
experience
here.
I
absolutely
adored
my
therapist
Lane
and
my
dietitian
Madisyn.
They
are
two
of
my
most
favorite
people
and
anyone
would
be
lucky
to
have
them
on
their
team.
I
miss
them
so
much.
They
both
cared
for
me
so
deeply.
My
psychiatrist,
Thomas
Hartman,
never
gave
up
hope
on
me
and
I
am
so
grateful
for
him.
Being
here
for
so
long
I
formed
close
connections
with
lots
of
people.
Special
shout-out
to
Elise
(pro-t),
Crystal
(pro-t),
Jaci
(pro-t),
Sandy
(pro-t),
Katie
(bhc),
Diona
(bhc
supervisor),
Jaimee
(bhc
supervisor),
and
Emily
(bhc).
I
also
loved
all
of
management
especially
Allison
and
Dave.
All
of
the
nurses
were
also
fabulous
(especially
Jessi,
Olivia,
Terri
and
Kyla)
These
are
the
people
who
got
me
through
the
5
hardest
months
of
my
life.
They
all
cried
with
me
on
my
last
day.
I
will
forever
be
grateful
for
each
and
every
one
of
them.
There
were
definitely
some
people
people
who
I
didn’t
click
with
but
that’s
just
a
part
of
life.
Although
vulnerability
is
important
i
encourage
Erc
to
let
the
trust
between
staff
and
patients
form
and
not
try
and
force
it.
It
is
okay
to
not
always
like
everyone,
we
all
have
our
people.
I
personally
did
not
like
iop
at
Erc
but
i
had
past
interactions
with
the
staff
in
iop
so
I
didn’t
have
high
hopes
of
it
working
out.
I
would
say
give
it
a
try
and
if
it’s
not
for
you
that’s
okay!
There’s
always
other
options.
In
full
transparency
there
were
obviously
some
not
so
great
parts.
The
beds
are
absolutely
horrid
and
rock
hard,
a
mattress
pad
is
a
must.
Some
decisions
about
treatment
were
made
without
consoling
treatment
teams
and
were
very
harmful.
Be
aware
that
they
are
very
strict
about
limiting
movement
.
No
dancing,
no
standing,
unless
you
are
walking
somewhere
you
must
always
be
sitting.
Other
patients
do
openly
triggering
things
and
the
staff
typically
doesn’t
stop
it
till
a
patient
say
something.
Being
here
sometimes
made
recovery
very
difficult
because
you
are
surrounded
by
so
many
who
want
nothing
to
do
with
recovery.
Patients
can
do
something
called
“check
ins”
with
bhcs
when
someone
needs
to
talk
or
is
disregulated
however
many
of
the
bhcs
are
not
trained
in
mental
health
or
eating
disorders
and
are
often
very
unhelpful.
(Obviously
not
the
ones
mentioned)
The
people
who
I
mentioned
are
amazing
at
meal
support
but
other
than
that
nobody
else
even
put
in
the
effort.
When
I
first
got
there
groups
were
honestly
not
great
and
consisted
of
the
same
worksheet
over
and
over.
Through
a
lot
of
advocacy
done
by
my
milleu
and
effort
by
the
wonderful
pro-ts
and
Megan
their
managers
by
the
time
I
left
the
groups
were
completely
changed
for
the
better.
However
I’m
unsure
if
they
remained
that
way.
There
were
lots
of
times
where
I
smiled
and
laughed
and
I
met
so
many
amazing
people
and
made
so
many
friends.
If
I
went
back
in
time
and
had
the
choice
do
it
over
again
I
would
absolutely
choose
Erc
northbrook.
I
have
a
very
outgoing
personality
and
always
felt
extremely
cared
for
but
I
know
it
wasn’t
like
that
for
everyone
there.
I
would
recommend
sending
your
kid
here
but
please
listen
to
their
concerns
and
be
their
advocate.
Although
this
was
the
place
for
me,
it
definitely
isn’t
for
everyone.
