Foodie Friday 12/2/2022 Recap. This week we decided to go Indian, Bangladeshi cuisine to be exact. We ate @ruchirestaurantatlanta in the Chamblee area and what a great meal it was!! As always the ratings are from 1 ❤️ to the greatest at 5❤️. Here is what we had: Lamb Keema Naan ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Who knew anywhere stuffed Naan with lamb. Now we know, and there us no turning back!! Tandoori Rooti ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Soft top, toasted and crumbly bottom... excellent!! Naan ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Shingaarar Chaat ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ This was amazing!! Almost egg roll style fried Naan covered in spices, garbanzo beans, yogurt, tamarind sauce. It was a little of everything; sweet, spicy, Creamy, flavorful!! Mixed Tandoori Platter ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Tandoori made with shrimp, lamb, chicken and chicken kabaab. It came to the table sizzling as you can see in the video!! Chicken Tikka Mashola-la ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Amazing as everything else. The service was great. We could smell the spices and meat cooking from outside, which let us know we were in the right place. Very happy I decided to try a new restaurant! Such a cute, intimate, oldie charm to this place!! For let me start by saying the service was amazing. I can’t remember my waiter’s name but he had exceptional customer service!! He was genuinely kind, extremely insightful, and very helpful. He offered many great recs and was very accommodating to my friend who is sensitive to spiciness. Everything that we ordered was soo delicious— we tried 7 different dishes (can’t remember the name >.<) and they were all sooo delicious!! Will def be back!!

The butter chicken was great. The nan was fresh. The special biryani wasn’t so good. This place suffers from identity crisis. The name says Bangladeshi restaurant but the food is Indian with mixed taste. The decor is old. 90s style mirror on the walls. Little updated decor and a menu refreshment is needed.

BEST South Asian food I have ever had! I came to this restaurant with my family whilst we were on vacation. This is a perfect place to go to on your way back from the Cliffs of Moher. Not only is the food exceptional, but the service is as well! You won’t regret it!

Seriously a hidden gem in ATL! Food is always so consistent and SO YUMMY. Every dish I’ve tried here is phenomenal (both for take out & dine in) and the staff is very sweet! I can’t recommend this place enough!!!

So flavorful! Everything was delicious and although you might see familiar looking dishes on the menu, it won’t taste like the same old Indian cuisine. It’s Bangladeshi so the flavors and spices are unique. Excellent service. Try the puréed eggplant dish. Trust me and give it a try!

I have been going to Ruchi for years now and it is one of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. Everything is so tasty and the Garlic Naan is a must have add on. The service is also excellent and everyone is very friendly every time we dine there. Highly recommended!
