I found this place while looking for something to do as a girl's night that was not traditional and I have fell in love! 1. I love the decor as it celebrates Louisiana culture. 2. The staff are gentle, respectful, and attentive to the needs of the group (it was ten of us). 3. Variances in price allow you to choose what you would like to paint. Prices may range from $8 to $55 for the larger pieces. 4. There is a place where you can host a party--albeit a girls night, anniversary, or child's birthday party. 5. There is a place to take photos. You must understand the following: --It may take you a while to select a piece...I went before my night out and STILL didn't know what I wanted to paint. --There is at least a one week turn around for the pieces and you will be anxious...it is worth the wait. --Your pottery will look 'ashy' prior to the final product. --Plan your time wisely...if this is your obsession. I am suggesting that for small pieces 45 minutes if you are socializing. Medium pieces 45-60 minutes and 90 minutes for larger pieces. My piece was an elephant and it took me almost two hours; however, I was laughing, talking, taking breaks, and enjoying my friends. I can see so much potential in the place. Small business owners rock! So, let's rally behind this one and make this a place that is in Hinesville to stay!

I hosted a Mommy & Me event here in September and it was such a great experience! Miss Tori is so patient and kind, she even asked what type of music we’d like played while we were there. The kids and I loved painting and our pieces, and us mamas were not shell-shocked at the register like I have been at other pottery places. We will be going back in November!

We went on a whim one Saturday, and my daughter absolutely loved it. We are going again for another Saturday this time planned. We loved how easy the pieces were to paint and the variety of pieces to choose from. This place is very easy on the pocket and makes for unforgettable memories.

I had been passing by this place for a while and didn't think much of it. (I'm not artistic). A friend had mentioned going to the pottery place in Richmond Hill. I wasn't willing to travel just to paint clay, so I suggested this place close to home. I am soo glad we decided to support this small business. Tori was exceptional, thorough, and passionate about art. She took extra time to help us. I found myself getting really excited about creating my own original mug. If anyone is looking for a family outing that won't break the bank and spend quality time together. Geaux pottery is the place.

They really go above and beyond to have friendly customer service and explain everything to a tee. They have so many affordable & attractive pieces to pick from. Ours were ready in one week (three pieces total) which we were told about ahead of time. I can’t wait to go back!

Very welcoming staff, big aray of objects to choose to paint, cute store tucked away from traffic. Definitely a great place to go, whether with your kids, or for a gals night out. Military discount as well!!
