Fantastic training ground with solid amenities. Highly recommend climbing here if you’re in Bend and looking to get more experience. Lily helped us learn the apps and described the climbing style in an in depth way.

This place is AMAZING. Lily, the owner, is so helpful and knowledgeable. It’s clear she has a huge passion for community and getting more folks comfortable on boards. The gym has multiple styles of boards and easy instructions on how to use the apps for newbies, like me. Cannot recommend this place enough if you want to improve your technique, or just want a comfy place to hang out with fellow climbers. Bonus: they have showers!

Boardworks Climbing studio is the perfect blend of community, flexible scheduling, and great vibes. With 24 hour access, 365 days per year, no staff, keyless entry with an app, you are able to go to the studio whenever you please. Inside there are 5 climbing boards with endless amount of possibilities for climbing. Each board is unique yet the same across the world. You can create and share new paths, by using apps to light up the handles led lights, plus the boards are angle adjustable. So someone in Japan could do the same route as you and you can work on the same one for training. On top of that, the culture is dope, chill, and inviting. Lily and Trevor have curated a beautiful place where the community can climb, socialize, train, rest, and enjoy life. Boardworks is the first of its kind in America and it will change how we look at community studio access across the United States. Looking forward to seeing how the community blooms and evolves. I think it would be cool if they collaborated with a board company and created their own board one day.

Boardworks is absolutely incredible. The value is amazing. The gym is clean and feels nice to be in. I love board climbing because it can offer both high end training but is also accessible to any skill level. I love that boards can be an end in themselves unlike typical climbing on plastic. Some problems have a storied history and they'll be around essentially forever. You can come back time and time again and measure your progress. Bw has several boards that are all adjustable that allow for working on almost every style. It's only a matter of time before more gyms like this are scattered all over the place.

Great facility! I love all of the different types of boards and angle options for all abilities. Also it’s really cool that it’s open 24 hours for late or early workouts. It’s also more temperature regulated than the other climbing gyms in town.

I had a great time at this gym! Lilly is incredible. She came to the gym to let me in for a tour on very short notice, and she took the time to show me—very clearly— how to work all the walls. She is very friendly and genuinely excited about introducing the Bend community to this new style of climbing.

If you're already familiar with board climbing you'll love it here. The build quality is amazing on each board and an extra bonus all the walls angles are adjustable. If you're new to board climbing or if it's been maybe intimidating to get into this is the place to start. There's signage for each of the boards, and the owner has provided easy to follow guides for all skill levels. She's looking to improve the space and asking the community for feedback on what changes they want to see. Can't wait to see what's new on my next visit! Sauna?!?đź‘€
