Wandered into Sophos Survival and was surprised at what an awesome place it is. They have everything you need for camping and survival. The owner is nice and extremely knowledgeable. They also have a number of free and paid courses on things like Ham radio, cpr, and survival skills.

I went to Sophos Survival store in Spanish Fork Utah for the first time today planning to pick up some things for a 72 hour survival kit. I walked in and Kim asked me if I needed help. I told him this is my first time in here and I wanted to look at everything in the store. He said no problem. If you have questions about anything or need help, please let me know. Then he went back to his computer screen and I took my old sweet time meandering through the store and looked at everything I could. Portable stoves, freeze dried meals, portable potties, waterproof matches, sleeping bags, water purification systems, water storage, knives, hatchets, solar powered battery systems, backpacks, etc. I ended up buying a basic 72 hour survival kit with a 15% discount. I was so happy! I’ve wanted to put a 72 hour kit together myself for years and now I finally achieved that small goal. I feel like I cheated a bit because I just bought a put together kit and didn’t put it together myself but the end result is the same. I’ll add a few of my personal items and then I’m set! If you need any survival items, I recommend stopping at Sophos Survival store. They have tons of inventory, there’s no pressure to make a sale from the attendants and they are very knowledgeable about their products. I had a 5 star experience with them today!

I was stopping in to see what this store had to offer and found my new local favorite. I was impressed with the amount of items they had for setting myself up for self reliance. Anything from freeze drying my own food to camping gear knives axes hatchets water filtration radios cookware and the list goes on and on. The staff was friendly and well informed. I now have a much bigger shopping list or wish list that my wife is not the biggest fan of, but what can I say.

The BEST survival/outdoor gear store I've ever been to! We stopped in for the first time today and were blown away by the great range of products, the great prices and most importantly the awesome team who runs the store! Amazing selection of first aid supplies, outdoor cooking, camping, food & water storage gear and epic selection of knives, tools, radios and power/lighting. I really can't think if one thing you'd need that they don't have. Really great selection of brands in all areas as well. It local businesses like this that really make me proud and grateful to be in Utah. I left feeling so inspired and I will definitely be back! :)

Isaiah and the team at Sophos Survival are amazing! They are knowledgeable about survival skills, equipment needed for both food storage/emergency preparedness along with camping and outdoor fun. They have a store packed full of supplies that are top quality and whenever I’m looking for any of these items, I always go to Sophos because I know what they recommend will be the best of the best! I highly recommend them!

I’m so happy I found this place. I was putting together hiking kits for my kiddos and needed some guidance and just to actually see my options versus getting them online. Sophos had everything I needed at a great price! Regina was amazing and answered my millions of questions and gave tips and suggestions for me and my family. I’m so pleased with my experience and will definitely go back soon!

Great store! They have a massive amount of inventory. Camping gear, survival gear, water treatment/ storage, medical supplies, communications equipment, bushcrafting, and even a book self full of fantastic information. I just bought a Baofeng UV-5RTP, I dont remember his name, but the gentleman at the front counter helped me program it and pointed me in the right direction to get started learning about radios and licensing. Definitely will be back and will recommend this place to my friends and family.

This was my first time in the store, I got a great deal on some running GU gel. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. I will go back for other outdoor supply’s for sure!
