    Dr. Hassanein gave me the wrong treatment plan for my cancer. I got a second opinion at UCI from their head of department and they and 2 other doctors confirmed this guy gave me the wrong treatment plan. Oh, and he stood me up TWICE for appointments with never a call, text or email. His staff in San Clemente does not return calls and flat out lies. This guy even did a test that cost $15,000 and was told by his staff (at the clinic he part owns) that it is 1 minute procedure. Hmmm, and 3 other doctors told me that the test was unnecessary. YMMV.

    My mother got referred to this clinic in 2016. Dr. Gutierrez was amazing and took good care of my mother for two years. Things went downhill when Dr. Gutierrez left and NP Anna Hefner took over her care. She never listened to my mother's symptoms and concerns. In March this clinic started doing video calls instead of in person appointments. During our last video call Anna Hefner said she was going to order lab work for my mother. She said someone from the clinic was going to contact us. It has been four months and we're still waiting for a phone call. During this time we have called and left multiple messages and none of them have been returned. Unfortunately, my mother was admitted to Sharp Hospital for HE. The hospital notified the clinic about the hospitalization. The clinic never bothered to call to schedule a follow up or inquire about my mother's health, or to even answer our phone calls.

    The receptionist Evelyn is a liar. I called to schedule the appointment and wrote down here name when I initially made the appointment, After I wait the 2 months and go in, the office were she works she tells me that my appointment was at another location. I have the notebook when I scheduled the appointment and had her name listed as the person I spoke with. The location was also there with the corresponding time. She then claims that a "Perla" from another location scheduled me and that it was for another location but on the notebook I had the correct address. She lied about everything and pretended to be so concerned and authentic. She is a very deceitful person who can look at you straight in the eyes and lie. It made me feel like I was not wanted there and that I should just leave. After waiting so long to be seen she misdirect me and shifts the blame at anyone who is unavailable to respond. The worst experience. Maybe her job is to remove unwanted patients from their "PatientHours." It seems that medical personnel have an attitude for the public or the patients they attend to. Perhaps after all the praise they received for being first responders or essential workers during the pandemic went to their head. Medical assistants receive that respect and acknowledgement during the pandemic but it is not shown in their pay checks so it's a bit of backlash towards patients without the desired insurance plan. I am sure patients with high end insurance plans get the respect and care they and everyone deserves.

    Do not go here. Seriously. If you need to call or get something from them over the phone good luck!!! They will string you along for as long as possible with 5 minute RUSHED appointments saying the same thing over and over. We got more accomplished in a MONTH with new dr then we did being at this place for a YEAR!!!

    I want to thank Vivian Makou for being such a big help for translating and helping us make appointments as well as guiding us through everything. She works hard and is very sweet and she’s one of the most amazing employees at this clinic.

    This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life they treat you horrible. Their calls are not recorded. They act very unprofessional, and they will not give you the treatment that you are desperately needing. I have been denied five times and it’s just a simple for them to do what The insurance needs from them and yet they’re refused to send it in their control freaks. They are out of control and they are very unprofessional please everybody don’t go there.

    It's the worst place I could have taken my mother. They told him that if he didn't do the embolization he would have months to live and if he did it could last for years. He had it done and now he is dying three weeks after his dead liver. Dr. Oliver didn't even show her lights once in the hospital she told me that her liver was working well and she didn't get on the elevator because I was there and she didn't want to face me. and I haven't seen it again, but the cost of 63 thousand dollars was well received. Please don't go to that place.
