I’ve been going to Nelson’s for decades. I can always count on the surroundings to feed my soul. Beauty abounds. Vivian’s talent for merchandising and her outstanding customer service, make it an absolute joy to do business with them. I’ve had several silk floral arrangements made over the the years as you can see in the photos. They are show pieces in my home.

The only thing better than the beautiful selection of plants and flowers at Nielsen’s is the quality and friendly nature of the staff. Everyone at Nielsen’s seems to have an innate ability to help me bridge the gap in whatever I am thinking and what will actually deliver the need of the day. I came in a couple weeks ago for the first time in a long time!!! The place is just magical with all the Christmas decorations! I was looking to get some beautiful items for the holidays. Doreen was so helpful and generous with her time helping me pick out my purchases!!

Do not hesitate to use Nielsen's for potted plants! I request a fall harvest design for my front porch, various pots, and near my mailbox and WOW. The house has never looked so good! They came by the house, asked me what I was thinking, asked a lot of great questions about preferences in color and style. Very quickly got me a design proposal with images of flower options. Then completed the job the next day. Amazing, amazing work and turn around time!

We love shopping at Nielsen’s. Vivienne is so talented, creative, friendly and always takes time with her customers. I look forward to seeing her each time I visit.

I’ve attended two workshops both led by Bob, who is patient and kind and clearly knows his stuff. I preferred the first, because I prefer to work with fresh flowers. The autumn wreath materials were artificial, and a bit lacking in sophistication for my taste, but I was in the minority. Wine and cheese were nice additions and everyone had fun. The store is beautiful and it was a treat to be there after hours.

Its always a pleasure to shop at and design with Nielson's excellent staff...Vivianne and Michele are true artists! Customer service is wonderful and Raya has gone above and beyond for my projects.

Each and every time that I have called Nielsen’s, the person I speak with is a true professional in their customer centricity, from plant care to gifts and flower arrangements. Looking back over the years, I ought to have written compliments long ago. However, one of the multitudes of times that I know one of the Nielsen’s family of experts in plants for the garden, flowers and arrangements for all occasions, Jan answered the phone. Jan knew exactly what I was looking for. Spot on! Thank you for hearing me through my lengthy description of ideas. Jan went to consult with, as she said, exquisite, experienced floral designers after sending me photos of the most perfect urn for the floral arrangement in honor of someone beloved. Jan took the time to speak with me about all, from a card hand written with calligraphy to what the flowers will be held within. Also, Jan worked with my budget, for, as we know, there are all kinds of flowers that are all beautiful, but they have different price points. I am thankful to know that I can always give Nielsen’s a call to be received by true professionals who place much care into everything they do, including the customers they work very hard to serve and ultimately, satisfy beyond measure. This is a great feat in today’s world. Nielsen’s is a root and a role model within their profession. Thank you, Nielsen’s!
