If I could leave them a negative 100, I would. This doctors office is very unprofessional & rude. I was diagnosed in April 2023 with Crohn’s. I went to the doctors in May. All he done was tell me what was going to happen next. I have been hospitalized twice since being under his care. On May 18 my FMLA was sent to them. I called and they said it takes up to 2 hours for it to come through. I called back a week later & was informed the papers never were received & my doctor would be out until May 30th. I physically dropped the papers off at the Belmont location. Then I was informed he was out of the country until June 8th. On June 6th I received notification the paper work was completed. Only to find out it was the original paperwork I faxed in on May 18th. I turned it and and my FMLA company informed me of a mistake he made. I dropped the papers off again on 6/12 at the Gastonia location. Today 6/13 I was notified that I had to now come pick up the same papers and take them to Belmont by 12:15 bc he will be out the office until 6/22 and my FMLA deadline is 6/21. I asked to speak with the branch manager. KELLY informed me that they have no way of knowing his schedule day to day but that’s a lie. I asked why my paperwork couldn’t be faxed instead of me taking it. Informed that fax machine is having issues but a fax had came through while I was waiting to speak with her. I take the papers to Belmont by noon. I was then informed he wouldn’t have time to fill the paperwork out and I had to wait. Dr Khandekar nor his staff seem to be competent enough to provide people with decency, compassion, and adequate healthcare. They call you 3-4 times a week concerning a bill but can’t seem to get ANYTHING CORRECT. I’ve received my medicines through my local emergency room instead of Dr Khandekar. I left his office in may still in pain and was only sent to get meds for nausea. Wouldn’t recommend. I will be filing a medical complaint with the board.

I would’ve been a new patient. The front desk staff is awful!! I had 2 phone calls with the same girl. First rude phone call, I thought everyone has bad days, didn’t let it get to me. After speaking to her the second time and it her rudeness was worse and the she HUNG UP ON ME, there was NO way I was going to enter a practice that the staff treated patients this way!!! The Dr should consider hiring someone more compassionate as it unfortunately looks bad on him because she’s the first contact when a patient calls!

The reviews for this place either need an update from past reviews, or maybe people with a good experience here, just aren’t reviewing this place enough. Seriously. I saw the ratings and got incredibly worried but after going here and several phone calls- all I can say is this place is very professional, and the staff speaks kindly, they are so helpful, and patient. The person I saw was also so amazing, informative and answered all my concerns. I do hope my review helps out some!

Called for over a week for my husband's upcoming Colonoscopy appointment that he has. Have received no paperwork with instructions. Noone answers the phone at this office. I have left a voicemail, not gotten a returned call and called their other location and was advised that they don't know what is going on but some other patients have came to their office because they also can't get anyone to answer the phone and they have a sign on the door that said they were closed on Friday and Monday. So you can't even speak to a person to cancel the appointment because you don't have your prep instructions. Very unprofessional and then after reading the reviews on here I don't want my husband seen here.

My wife was referred there for liver trouble, Ciera Fitzgerald FNP-BC order a battery of tests. We met with her today for results, very professional in explaining situation.

I'm so fearful to get a procedure at this facility! The gentleman that scheduled my consult was extremely rude(I'm in the medical profession). The reviews for this facility are fairly brutal, contemplating canceling & asking for a referral to a different establishment.

Absolutely and without a doubt the worst place I've ever had dealt with. Dr. Khandekar's negligent note keeping and carelessness along with the front staffs misinformation has made dealing with this office a nightmare. After having a procedure Dr. Khandekar came to my room and started showing my wife the name, date of birth, and other sensitive information including the procedure of another patient. Pretty sure that's a HIPPA violation. Then his refusal to fill out paperwork regarding a leave he said I'd need cost me my job. 0/10 recommend this place.

I have called several times, left my contact info, and they say they will return my call. They haven’t. I tried to sign up for the portal to see my results and it says my info is wrong. I know my info is correct. There is no way to speak to anyone to get all of this cleared up. Very disappointed with this experience.
