👍👍 TL;DR: Excellent food and customer service in an inviting atmosphere. Situated in a sideward-facing strip on a major road, it’s easy to miss P&P, unless you know it’s there. I was lured to P&P by a social media post showing off their delicious Haitian patties. The small restaurant is clean and mod... People often mention patties, Haitian, order, time,

TL;DR: Excellent food and customer service in an inviting atmosphere. Situated in a sideward-facing strip on a major road, it’s easy to miss P&P, unless you know it’s there. I was lured to P&P by a social media post showing off their delicious Haitian patties. The small restaurant is clean and modern with speakers playing hip-hop and R&B from the golden 90s-2000s era. I was tempted to try the stewed chicken but everything is made to order and I didn’t feel like waiting for an hour, so I went with the griot (pork) and black rice (slight upcharge). I also ordered a half dozen patties (chicken and beef) to take home. My meal was hot, fresh and flavorful. The meal came with plantains (not the sweet ones) and a small serving of pikliz. To wash down my food I ordered the “Haitian lemonade,” which is a slightly sweet lemonade with a hint of vanilla. I would return.

If you're looking for delicious Haitian food, this is the place to go! The staff are all very welcoming and warm and you can tell that the owners take a lot of pride in making their food. It's always a great experience and I love trying something new on the menu. The portions are very generous and usually one entree is good enough for 2 meals.

I bought it there, Patty. Delicious! Haitian patty is delicious, and food. However, I tried the patty and wasn't disappointed. Baldwin got a spot for Haitian Patty, and you don't gotta go to Queens to get it.

Highly recommend Pops and Poosh. Best Haitian food on Long Island. Family run restaurant, delivers with delicious food. Great vibe. All food is made to order and you can taste the freshness. I have tasted the whole menu and you really can’t go wrong. Patties are so tasty and really packed with filling. 10/10 hands down. You will thank me later.

Best legumes I’ve had at any Haitian restaurants! Perfectly seasoned well balanced but most importantly non greasy! Let’s talk about their patties now…wow! Oh so so good melt in your mouth situation AND filling to pastry ratio perfect! I’ve visited them a few times and I have yet to have anything other than amazing food. Great service and atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I tried this place for the first time and absolutely LOVED everything. I picked up dinner for my husband and I which was lambi and griot both served with black rice as well as a side Mac & cheese. We both loved our food. I wanted to try their Patties too and I mean wow! The chicken patties as well as the lambi patties were top notch. I got a bottle of cremas too which was great and a little jar of piman simple because my hubby and I both love spicy food. We were not disappointed in anything whatsoever. Service was also great. The place is cozy and I love the “Jalouzi” wall. Iykyk

We were remodeling our kitchen and we were unable to cook .we ordered fish/Acra/ Tassot etc. The dishes came with rice, sauce pois, fried plantains etc. The best food from a" restaurant" . The service is excellent. Not like other Haitian restaurant staff... If I could I would have given them 10 stars. !!! COMPLIMENTS! from Jacques family.02/16/2024.

The workers are very friendly. This was my first time eating haitian/Caribbean food. I got the baked Mac and cheese, codfish patties, beef patties and fried plantains. The mac and cheese was pretty decent, nice and creamy taste to it. But it overall wasn't hot being that it's cooked fresh.

We were looking for patties on the night of the superbowl and were unable to purchase them anywhere across Long Island. This was our first time calling this location over the phone. They were very pleasant and explained how everything was freshly made and it would take just over 30 minutes to get 3 dozen patties of varying types. Upon arrival we got to speak to the owner ‘Pops’ and he explained about there history and the special spin they take on certain dishes. After conversation we went on to order 2 meals for ourselves consisting of fried snapper and legim. We also got a side of the Mac and cheese which was exceptional and also all freshly made. Though im located in suffolk I do plan to continue to come to this location based on the food quality, employee relationship and overall experience. The patties were also well received by our superbowl party. i would also like to mention all this happened at there closing time (we were literally there last customers.) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I love Haitian food and wanted to try new places so I came over to pops and Poosh mainly to try their patties but decided to get dinner. The food was good but the wait was pretty long (30 minutes). The food provided is not a lot compared to the amount of food that is provided at Good Taste in Cambria Heights for around the same price.

Pops & Poosh is a business that stands on outstanding service and professionalism. I used them to cater a surprise party for some relatives, and it was the best decision. The food was fresh and full of flavor. It was a party of 30+ people and each person left full and satisfied. There were constant compliments on the quality of the food. Placing my catering order was a seamless process. Their menu is clear-cut and cost effective. I made my order over the phone and chose a pickup time. My order was ready on time and payment was simple. If you're having an event, they are the way to go. They are reliable, courteous, and committed to serving you with the freshest ingredients. I will be using them again. Thank you Pops & Poosh for your incredible service and being a blessing to my family.
