I always stop at this welcome center when I'm driving past it on 75. Dog area is always mowed and usually clean. Inside, they have disposable bowls for dogs, and outside is fresh water, and even an RV dump station you can use for free! 3 nice sized runs, with adjoining gates, that can be opened to make 1 big area if nobody else is there. Everytime I have been there, poo bags have been available. Staff is very friendly, and welcoming, which is great for a welcome center, lol. I would say this is the true definition of "Welcome Center", I feel invited and safe visiting here. Thanks to the staff and city for providing this great space!

This is one of my most favorite rest stops. It has fenced dog exercise areas, free rv dump and free orange juice. The hosts inside are always friendly and helpful.

Best welcome center I have ever been to. It’s clean and the staff is polite and helpful. The staff was able to answer all off my questions and helped me find something to do for the day as well as some potential activities for the next few days. Inside there are a plethora of brochures detailing a variety of experiences from zip-lining to dining. The main entrance is grand and open complete with a beautiful chandelier but welcoming due to it’s homey furnishings. Sad news is that the local art has moved, but there is a modest selection of items for sale ranging from shirts to post cards which is a nice addition. I believe there is a receptacle/holding tank for sewage to be disposed of properly from RVs as well. I saw one I believe in use while I was there. The outside landscaping is well-kemt/kept and there is a beautiful gazebo with picnic tables for families to snack together. Safety may seem trivial to some but the parking felt safe which to me when traveling is a big deal. There is a tidy and quint bathroom to use as well as a dog park across the street. My only recommendation would be to bring in a few items from local artists again even if it’s not as extensive as before.

What a wonderful and helpful stop for us fulltime rvers! Dump station, fill water, dumpster and even a small dog park! We will be doing our shopping here in town to give our gratitude back to the town. Such a nice relief from the unwelcomeness we felt as rvers with dogs in Florida!

Looks like it's a nice place, too bad the doors were locked during their "open for business" hours marked at the front door. Oddly enough my husband went in and used the restroom, but two minutes later (3:15pm) the doors are locked and me and my toddler are forced to use the nearby gas station for a restroom instead. Two thumbs down on the welcome Perry! Two thumbs down for the old bag hiding behind the "closed" sign when the place should be open!!!

Thank you the wonderful hostess that steered us to great things to do today, July 7th, 2021. We saw dogs in training at the fairgrounds, drove down the main street with all the little shops, and had homemade peach cobbler at Lane Orchards!

Honestly one of the best placed welcome centers I’ve been to. Off the highway but not inaccessible. Walking up feels like a welcome center and walking inside feels like a welcome home. It was very nice and had a comforting southern feel to it. The employee was cordial and warm. Had a wonderful map that let you put a pin in it from where you are from! Very neat idea! Lots of pamphlets to find local and surrounding things to do. Excellent stop if you find yourself in Perry, GA.

Clean and peaceful Running from Irma w a 16 y/o cat, I came across this place with a very nice, well-fenced, dog park. Trees on both sides and a bench to sit. It's the happiest he's been all day. Inside, it's clean and well-maintained (might be the happiest I've been all day too).
