It's official. This is my new go to. Hands down the best food in fall river. The service is amazing and the atmosphere is chill. I recommend Piyay 100% if your looking for island food. The fried red snapper is cooked to perfection. I will be returning back soon 😊

Lets be fair. The inside of this place looks as if it's not even a real business. It's as if the owners couldn't of cared less. I ordered two sides of fried chicken along with two sides of rice and beans and all were extremely dry. I took some pics because it's just hard to imagine they got this cooked on purpose. The people are very friendly and they answered all my questions well but it's really not welcoming... especially for a food establishment. The food was reasonably priced however it is very dry with not much if any grease or butter. Not to mention the takeout menu only has 6 options to choose from... Very limited sadly. I wouldn't want to sit down and eat here.... hell NAH

got fufu today on staff recommendation and am in his debt because it was the perfect starch to soak up the okra stew. the beef pieces in the stew were super tender. a chill place with nice people and good food -- highly recommended!
