Charming little cottage in Waynesville close to all of the attractions and our friends who live in the area. Tastefully furnished with a comfortable bed and sparkling clean. During our 2 week stay we enjoyed having dinner out on the patio a few times and walking around the yard along the babbling creek. We had everything we needed; the owners thought of everything. Although a fence would've been nice for Wilson to be able run & play off his leash. We enjoyed the cookies and Wilson enjoyed the doggy treats. My husband and I stayed here last month. What a lovely cottage with a beautiful outdoor setting! I think I was drawn to it because the colors and decor are similar to my own home. The bed was comfortable and the whole place was nice and clean. We were welcomed with cookies and dog treats. Thank you! I liked that they had some local literature for food & things to do in the area. It is conveniently located to restaurants & attractions, but because of that, traffic noise was loud at times. Nothing terribly over the top, though. Owners were easy to communicate with. We had the wrong entry number, but it was quickly resolved. We would definitely stay again and recommend this cottage.

Unit appears to be brand new and clean as a whistle! Great location for Waynesville activities. Very quiet in the evening hours. Hosts provided great communication... we plan to stay there again!

I stayed at Brookside Cottages in March and was thoroughly pleased. So, when I wanted a last breath of mountain air before summer season, I immediately booked the Smokies Cottage again. The owners have all the details covered to make your stay perfect. The cottage is always very clean and neat, with a lush yard area for relaxation. Fabulous location for walking to Hazelwood or Waynesville shops.

Awesome place. Extremely clean, and very well appointed. All furnishings/appliances seemed relatively new. The only negative was the water heater had woefully poor capacity. Fortunately the wife and I are pretty good at four minute showers. Would absolutely recommend/stay there again.

Brookside cottage is perfect for 2 people and they keep the cottage immaculate! They even left a little doggie treat bag for our puppy, very thoughtful! They think of everything to make your stay comfortable. The location is very close to downtown Waynesville so it's very convenient to shops and restaurants. The area down the side street seems a little sketchy but we had a safe stay. Always enjoy coming here! My only request is that they fence in the yard so our dog can run around. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Everything was wonderful. Anything you could possibly need was available. The host are great, and always just a text or call away with any issue. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying at Brookside Cottages is like a home away from home for us. We always get the chance to relax and enjoy our time away from our more busy lives. I personally enjoy sitting outside in the mountain air and being able to cook if I want to or go get food nearby if that is preferred. The owners are always quick to respond if there is ever anything that needs to be attended to.
