I
am
a
kind
of
shy
nerd
who
doesn't
fully
fit
in
with
any
particular
nerd
set;
I
play
TTRPGs
but
I'm
not
very
good
at
them,
and
I've
also
dipped
my
toe
into
just
about
every
fandom
there
is,
but
I've
never
been
fanatical
about
any
of
them.
So
I
wasn't
sure
I'd
fit
in
here.
Despite
that,
it's
the
place
I'm
most
comfortable
in
the
world.
Debo
and
his
crew
are
friendly,
and
welcoming,
and
the
atmosphere
in
the
hall
itself
is
just
comfortable.
It's
done
up
like
a
tavern,
but
with
a
theater
style
projector
screen
off
to
one
side,
and
the
lights
are
always
low.
So
far
I've
only
gotten
the
nerve
up
to
talk
to
one
other
person
there,
and
really
she
reached
out
to
me.
I
mostly
just
sit
there
and
watch
whatever's
on
the
TV
or
read
my
book,
and
just
bask
in
not
feeling
like
I'm
in
the
way,
or
otherwise
existing
wrong
somehow,
like
I
feel
most
places.
For
me,
it's
most
comparable
to
that
webforum
or
Discord
server
that
you've
been
part
of
for
so
long
that
you're
just
kind
of
known.
It's
like
a
home.
Every
city
should
have
a
Guildhall
just
like
it,
rebuild
the
freemasons
around
a
shared
interest
in
nerdy
things
instead
of
the
nebulous
idea
of
a
secret
society
everyone
knows
about.
