A hidden gem! Even though it’s on the Main Street, you may just walk past this wonderful restaurant. We stopped by after getting our cinnamon rolls after reading the other Google reviews. Everyone was right - this place is ON POINT! Owner was super nice and let me try the poke. We ordered a large poke (it’s THAT GOOD) and a seared rock cod sandwich (cooked to perfection) with fries (perfect crispy). We wanted to try the tacos but were full. It’s super clean inside with counter height tables inside and two tables for outside dining. This will be our go to place when stopping in Pismo Beach. Definitely give this a try!

I can't give this place enough stars!!! The food was seriously out of this world delicious! That didn't compare though to the service. We stopped on our road trip and are planning on hitting it on the way home. The smoked salmon ranged from sweet to spicy and even my husband who didn't like salmon asked to buy extra to bring home. Best clam chowder, fried fish and calamari ever!! I can't wait to go back.

If you want fish and chips without lots of fanfare and with a little bit of an attitude, this is your place. I had some really shishi fish up the road the night before, and it was good. But I wanted some more down to earth fish and chips place. Well this was my spot. I got to the restaurant which has only parking on the street and can be challenging. But it is downtown Pismo Beach. After finding parking I walked into the store. There was a small line and seemingly nowhere to sit. It's a small joint with lots of different fish items and a table or two. But the prices are extremely reasonable, and people seem to excited to eat there. I found the fish and chips, the item I was seeking since the day before. I ordered the halibut fish and chips, and found a small table by the window. The fish came out fairly quickly with two nice pieces. They have a three piece option but I didn't feel like I could finish that. Indeed, that was the case. The two piece was plenty. First bite, crunchy and yummy inside. Second bite, more of the same. I wolfed down the fish and the chips and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. After my meal, I looked over the menu and realized there's lots of good options, including grilled fish that seemed all reasonably priced. All the fish came straight from the nearby ocean, and was indeed fresh. One of my new favorite fish places. Definitely recommend for all, but expect to compete with lots of tourists. Would I go back again, for sure. You done real well El Pizmo fish company!!!

What a delicious lunch. The owner is very present in the business. For once I got more fish than breading! Just walk in, place your order and prepare to be impressed! I can’t wait till my next trip to Pismo for another round of great food. Great music also!!

Absolutely delicious fish & chips. The tartar sauce was just as it should be, with lots of dill. The fish was fresh, flaky, and tender, and the fries were hot, crisp, and fresh. I can’t wait to come back and try the poke bowl! They make everything in-house and the service was excellent. Super clean and they have about 50 hot sauces to choose from.

I came in specifically for the fish and chips based on reviews I read. I wasn’t disappointed! The batter didn't overpower the cod nor were the pieces greasy. Crispy fries finished the basket. The service was friendly and I felt welcomed.

This place is a gem if you want fresh seafood. We always go for ceviche and some oysters or fish and chips (kudos to them for offering a gluten free option). We have also picked up some fresh salmon (when in season) to take home grill.

I grew up on the coast and I’m glad to see such a fine establishment . Their rock cod fish tacos were off the hook
