I never post reviews, but this has really been bothering me so I feel like I have to. We hired Banks Entertainment for DJ and photo booth services for our wedding on 8/12/23. Communication was great leading up to event, however on the day of event around 4pm (our ceremony started at 6) the DJ called and said that he typed in the wrong address of the venue and he was 3 hours away so he would not make it to the ceremony, but should be there around 7. Luckily, our venue had a sound system for the ceremony, so he would just set up in reception hall as soon as he got there. After the ceremony ended and we finished taking pictures, he was still not there and I was notified that he had gotten lost again and our venue coordinator had to literally drive to go find him and lead him to the ceremony. The venue is in the country, but the photo booth attendant from the same company and all other vendors made it perfectly fine after typing in the address on GPS. Steven didn't end up making it to the venue until after 8 pm when he was supposed to get there at 4pm. Our guests had to wait an hour and a half for us to be introduced into the reception, so many of them had to leave before we were even able to see them. I understand mistakes happen, but the DJ was a little rude and never even apologized after he finally got there. We did receive a call from Keith, the owner, stating we would get a full refund, which we really appreciated, but when we received the check it was only for the DJ and not for the photo booth services. So the term "full refund" was a little misleading. The photo booth attendant was great, but we didn't get to utilize the photo booth for the full amount of time we paid for since we had to wait on the DJ before we could enter the reception. It's just very disappointing to have something like that happen on your wedding day. If you decide to go with Banks, I suggest requesting a different DJ than the one we had.

This company is amazing to work with. Their communication leading up to and on the big day is A+ and they are very helpful and organized. Bethany in particular is a joy to work with and will make sure your wedding runs smoothly. She not only does a great job as a DJ, but is willing to step in to help in any way she can in addition to doing her job. This company knows what they are doing and I would recommend them to anyone looking for DJ services. I had such a pleasant experience working with Banks Entertainment and Bethany and can't recommend them enough!

We used Banks for our wedding this past October. Up to the wedding day, I would have fully recommended them. However, I don’t want other brides to fall for the reviews that are good like I did. From one bride to another, DON’T use this company. We gave them a playlist for the reception, and none of our music was played. For cocktail hour, they did follow our music, but they didn’t mix the songs up like they said they would (when I wrote the songs down, I didn’t shuffle them) so multiple songs by the same artist played back to back. When the dancing part started, none of the music was correct. My coordinator told the DJ multiple times that the music was wrong, but they blamed not having the right music on the wifi connection. I can’t wrap my head around why the music wasn’t downloaded. They even played songs that we specifically told them NOT to play. The planning sheet even has sections for genres that we wanted and didn’t want, and the music didn’t even follow this. At the very least, if the wifi was the problem, they should have tried to play music that was similar to our preferences. Over 4 hours of music, full of songs that meant a lot to my husband and I, was not used. It felt like the DJ was unprepared despite two meetings beforehand. The DJ that showed up wasn’t even the one who I worked through the schedule with. I have been trying for almost 4 weeks to get in contact with them about this situation. I was told twice that the owner would contact me, and I haven’t heard a word. They’ve even ghosted my emails now. PLEASE, from one bride to another, don’t put yourself through this! I truly feel like my reception was ruined because of this, and I don’t want other brides doing through this!

We received services for a DJ and photobooth for our wedding on 10/6/2023 Please note I have emailed the company to try and resolve this with absolutely no response at this time. Which that itself is starting to speak volumes on this company. The DJ Didn’t know the order of the events and kept asking bride and groom which was pulling us away from our guests and photos and food in the middle of dinner When I looked at the schedule he had it was the old version of our order of events and wasn’t properly done. I had to email in order to get our last meeting scheduled and I’m pretty sure it was a completely different person than we had talked to the first time. Kept changing songs abruptly in the middle of the song causing confusion and a lack of flow during dinner and reception Didn’t use our playlist so we had no meaningful songs played other than our first dance even though they were given a 7 hour long playlist we had created on Spotify to use during dinner and reception They werent announcing the things happening so my maid of honor had to tell everyone to go eat and I had to go around and tell everyone to go get desert which caused the bridal party and family to barely be able to eat. Eventually my photographer and I took over making events actually happen and getting ready for them. Up lighting was multicolored not a warm white like discussed Overhead lights were on practically all night which made the setting not very welcoming and felt like I was holding a reception in a cafeteria not a beautiful event space Messed up my mother daughter dance song which was just embarrassing and disheartening because it was the one dance I got with my mom where we had to stop and wait for them to get it figured out. He didn’t apologize or explain what was happening. He just said “Let’s get them out here and try that again” he wasn’t even aware that was the wrong song the groom had to cut him off and tell him that wasn’t the song. Started procession song too soon so it felt rushed and like I had no time to be prepared for my entrance We also did not get our last song of the night for the evening to close the wedding out. On top of these things the photobooth I’m pretty sure didn’t upload all of our photos and the quality is awful so they’re grainy and not the quality you have advertised at all. Overall my experience with banks entertainment was very disappointing and it was one of those things we were very excited to have for our wedding to lessen the stress and have someone else take care of big moments that were ultimately ours to handle anyways considering all of the above. I’m sure there are other things that I haven’t even listed above that made the night unforgettable in a way that was not at all how I wanted it to be. For the amount we paid banks entertainment to make our wedding as “stress free” and seamless as possible it was definitely was not that.

We had a wonderful experience for our wedding on 10/01/2023! The guys were right on time, there were perfect transitions for every song, and volume was great. We had a transition at 8 pm to a more party vibe and they did great with that. They were super cool and made sure to follow the do not play list we came up with beforehand!

I recently hired Banks Entertainment for an event and I must say, they did an outstanding job. Not only were they punctual and professional, but their music selection was spot-on. They played all the songs I requested and kept the crowd engaged and entertained throughout the entire event. The lighting they provided added the perfect ambiance and created a truly memorable experience for everyone in attendance. I couldn't have asked for better entertainment. If you're looking for a reliable and talented entertainment company, I highly recommend Banks Entertainment.

We had an awesome experience with our dj, Logan. There were some hiccups prior to us finding him with communication with the company. I think I spoke to 3 different Dj’s about our wedding and I had no clue who was actually doing it. That was a little stressful, but all in all the end result was great. Again, Logan is the man he did excellent and handled our event like a champ!!

We recommend and love working with Banks Entertainment! Banks has many roles including DJ, photography, videography, Photo Booth and much more!
