    DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company! Like the other one star reviews, I never got the service I paid for.I have contacted my credit card company and cancelled the service. If that does not go through because of the time frame, I will be filing a small claims court case. Dan Wall, their customer service manager is a scam artist and avoids phone calls, emails once he has your money. They are very quick to take your money when making the sale. They will do research and use restaurants/businesses in your area as references but none of them know about Take Out Times. We gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited 5 months for the service but will be warning everyone in our area about how horrible they are. Provide a customer service number that people can actually get help at and not just a generic we are looking into it response. The looking into hasn't help since there has been multiple complaints and still happening. All lines go right to Dan Wall's line so again, nothing is going to be solved if he's the problem. *** Update: After posting this review I tried reaching out to the company with the number advertised on Google and again got Dan Wall. This time he generically said he was going to issue a refund and I wasn't going to accept that as an answer. I asked for a specific date and I told him he had 3 days before I filed a suit. I got my refund within that 3 days.

    I previously posted a review about how this company does not actually have the necessary relationships with the restaurants to ensure advertising menus are actually used. It took 4 months from when we approved our ad for them finally claim the menus were in use. (Fall 2022 to Feb 2023) Repeated visits to the restaurant found they were not. We were regularly in contact with Dan Wall and given repeated promises he would make it right. Finally at the end of June 2023 he said we would get a refund. Never happened. On my previous review from Sept. 2023, they posted a "canned" response claiming their customer service would reach out to me within "24 hours." (Same "cut and paste" response they gave to Kathi Olson who also posted a 1 star review.) Today is Oct. 10 -- and absolutely no one has reached out, or returned my repeated phone calls. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR MONEY. There is no way for me to reply directly to the Owner's response. I'm hoping Google will notify you I have edited my review. If you truly want to contact me to make this right, I'm not going to put my info out here publicly, but you can look at account 859AM-01-01 and you'll find contact info for me.

    I wish I'd had the same experience as most of their other customers writing Google reviews have. I signed a contract and paid in December 2022. Created the ad and content. Never received the leaflets as promised. I went to two of the three restaurants they were allegedly in contract with, not to check up on them, but when I was eating at either [anyway] of the two establishments I asked to see "the booklet you include with each takeout order" and neither place had ever heard of the takeout times and had no knowledge of leaflets being sent home with takeout food. I have called and called and emailed and emailed (Dan Wall) and finally asked for a complete refund for the full amount I paid and he said he would "check on that and will get back to you" which was over a month ago. So NOW I am clearly incensed at their scattered way of doing business and downright complete lack of customer service. I am not suggesting that anyone not use them because based on reviews by many of their customers they got what they paid for and ordered but somehow my contract, money, and overall experience fell through the cracks. I am only writing this because I feel like I have no other recourse and at least it feels good to vent. Meanwhile, when I get up to Portland I will file a claim in small claims court. So in summary, based on my experience, the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing at this company with one exception...their sales people certainly do and the buck stops there.

    This is now my 3rd attempt to get resolution. I have previously posted reviews about your inability to get our advertising on menus as agreed, and the fact Dan Wall promised a refund back in June. You post replies trying to make yourself look good on Google and indicating you are going to reach out to me and make this right, but that never happens. It is now 16 minutes after the time when Dan Wall promised to contact me regarding the refund. (Saying he would call me at 9:00 a.m. my time on October 18.) Also, the "owner" has made promises to reach out. But NOTHING has happened. I am not going to post my contact info publicly. This is the same Gail who has posted 2 previous reviews. Our account number is 859AM-01-01. If you really intend to make good on this, you can easily locate my contact info.

    Quoting your response to my THIRD attempt to get this resolved: "We had a Covid/flu outbreak in our production department. You will be contacted today." It's now after 7:00 p.m. - no attempt to reach me. I guess you have a different definition of the word "today." Repeating my warning to others - DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR MONEY. Let's make this clear for any readers. The above review was posted on October 23. The response you see below from the Owner was entered on November 16. I can't directly respond to their response - but I have no idea what the reference to filling space with non-profits even means. I paid for you to put my "for profit" company's advertising on the entire back of menus to be used for 1 year in a local diner- not shared space with any other company, non-profit or otherwise. You were never able to make that happen. I did NOT benefit from any free ad design because there was no where for it to be used!!! Also, I will point out one more thing: My initial review, above, does not use the word "scam" anywhere.

    It has actually been a pleasure working with the members of the takeout times. Their communication back and forth was very impressive and all questions were clearly addressed. Great Customer Service and look forward to seeing great results from our partnership.

    I own a small auto shop and have been with The Takeout Times foe nearly a decade in my small community. They helped my friends restaurant do there menus and marketing for free. I've been telling my story in my hometown for years and I feel blessed. Thank you.

    Rip off, do not use this poor excuse for a marketing company. Smooth talkers really and today when I questioned them they hung up on me. Therefore, I contacted the Attorney General in my state to file a claim as to further investigation of their questionable business practices.
