Awesome - especially their staff, and willingness to go above & beyond to take care of customer. Ed who works here, stayed late Friday evening after closing to fix my bike with crucial repairs needed on my bike, ahead of a race that following morning. I would not have been able to do the race, without the rush services he took care of. Top-shelf customer service!

I had a mechanical problem on the Trans Am between Jeffry City and Lander and had to walk the last bit into Lander, arriving the Sunday afternoon before the Fourth of July holiday. The first bike store that I passed was closed. I got to Gannet Peak bike shop and was just forlornly staring at the locked door, looking for the hours, What a surprise when Ed opened the door after hours, took me and my bike in, and said that they didn't like to leave anyone stranded. Ed fitted my bike into their bustling schedule, adjusting my shifters and brakes, and worked after the 6:00 closing on July 3 to get me back on the road. Plus, he was an expert technician for my somewhat more complicated bike. I'm really grateful for the care and flexibility of the Gannet Peak bike shop.

We stopped here at Gannett Peak Sports on June 12 while on a bicycle trip and this is hands down the best bicycle shop I've ever been in. We had seen a flyer saying they offered free ice cream to touring cyclists so, of course, we had to stop in. The staff was absolutely amazing, so welcoming and helpful. After we got the ice cream, they offered to pump up our tires, and when I mentioned a small problem I was having with my bike, they promptly came up with a creative fix and then spent some time taking care of it - and refused to let me pay anything. While we were waiting, they also gave us free beer! The shop itself is large, well-supplied, and immaculate and everyone who works there is very knowledgeable. While we were there, a foreign cyclist participating in the Race Across America came in with a bigger bike problem and the staff went out of their way to get his bike fixed in the fastest, most friendly way imaginable so he could return to the race. He was clearly overwhelmed by the assistance he received. Even without the free ice cream and beer, I would not hesitate to rate this shop as the absolute best. It's amazing!

I live in arguably one of the best mountain biking areas in the United States, but yet, I chose to drive four hours and purchase a mountain bike with Ed from Gannett Peak Sports. Why? EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE. I first called Ed and GPS in search of a Stumpjumper for rent. He was so diligent throughout the booking process, that we actually considered just purchasing a Stumpjumper through their retail services. We had been on the hunt in our hometown of Salt Lake City, and bike shops hardly even noticed us. Yet, Ed gave me 5-star service when I was only even considering a rental. For that reason, I wanted my hard-earned money spent with someone who deserved it. I don't condone working after-hours, but Ed happily stayed open late to facilitate our after-hours pickup. Wishing continued success to Ed and GPS!

This is an amazing shop. Never would have expected a shop of this caliber in such a small town. Ed is an amazing guy. Made us feel completely welcome and at home the minute we walked through the door. If you’re near Lander come here.

Gannett Peak Sports are the very best at what they do. I’m doing the Trans America Bike Race and called ahead to the shop after snapping a derailleur cable near Crowheart. After pedaling into Lander on a jerry rigged derailleur, they immediately took my bike in for service and set me up with a beer and ice cream sandwich while I waited. Ed fixed my derailleur cable after some effort extracting the old one, and checked the tuning on the rest of the bike to ensure I was in top shape. One of the best bike shops I’ve ever been to.

This shop is amazing! We came through on our touring ride with minor mechanical issues and the folks here were so incredibly welcoming. We hung out and found every piece of gear we could need and got great adjustments and tips for visiting Lander. Definitely stop here! Amazing selection and service!!

Ed helped me 2am with a fix I needed while racing trans am. Found breaks had problems too and they’ve never been better. Ed is attention to detail and pointed out many little things that add up to the bike being a lot better. Saved a lot of future problems.
